Denyjane: wow. Ya. No surgery but similar experience for me March 9th 2017. Woke with thunderclap headache, vision was going, knot on head. Use to be a migraine sufferer. By midnite I was being choppered to a "better" hospital (3 hrs away by car...) Only remember bits & pieces...3 days in ICU. I apparently fell sometime during the nite, got back in bed, and woke. Released from hospital day 5. Told me I had a mild stroke. Took better part of 2 yrs to recover. Just never been or 'felt' normal again. And then for the icing on the cake, I almost died on June 7th 2018. Long story but let's just say I view EVERYTHING differently now. If this was/is my spiritual awakening...Ill take it. Take care ✌💚

This is cool to know and relateable. Less than 2 months ago I started getting a severe headache that would NOT go away. After a week I told my Dad that I probably needed to see a doctor about it. He is only close living family member, and I was at his house spending time with him. He went to store and came back to find me on the ground barely able to breathe and too weak to even move. Got rushed to hospital to find out I had an aneurysm that had broken and it had caused a stroke. It is a very scary experience and for her to go through that + all the filming shows a lot of inner strength. I encourage people to learn the warning signs of stroke and never ignore severe headaches. It very well could save the life of someone you love or your own.

That is such a sweet friendship. Lovely to see! I've had a traumatic brain injury, too so I can relate. I've had it for decades now, so you can live afterward with really good treatment. I still have seizures, but fewer of them than when it started. It's unbelievably difficult at first, especially since it's not an injury friends and family can see with their eyes. They used to say things like, "You look great, so you must be all healed!" Which felt like a stab to the emotions.

I had a brain aneurysm in my basilar artery, on the bottom of my brain. I struggled for answers for the splitting headaches I was enduring, and since I did not have a family doctor it was impossible to get anyone to listen. I finally stumbled on a pair of EMTs who recognized my crisis and handed me off to just the right doctor. So very happy for Emilia, her family and her friends and fans, that she got the help she needed in time to save that spitfire! Seeing Jason Momoa being so supportive of his costar is no surprise. He is totally beloved in my family. My son was a guest of one of the co-executive producers of Stargate: Atlantis when they filmed their final episode. One of my favourite memories of his experience (and I wasn't even there with him) was when he had the opportunity to enter into mock sword play with the Property Master, Kenny Gibbs, using Ronan Dex's actual swords.. Jason was not on set that day, but that moment just left us both enchanted. Robert Picardo was incredibly kind to my son (who was an adult at the time, not a kid), as was Amanda Tapping. When my son returned home and shared his entire experience with me, I could see how my impression of Mr. Momoa's character was just miles ahead of almost any other actor whose work we adore as a family. Knowing what I struggled with in my own recovery, I can certainly appreciate how Ms. Clarke's recovery was facilitated by the support of such an impressive human being. Mr. Momoa and I also share an incredible appreciation of New Zealand. It really is rare to learn that a celebrity has such a massive heart as Mr. Momoa, and it is so encouraging to see a celebrity put the wellbeing of his or her costars equal or greater than their own. Mr. Momoa, if we ever encounter each other in New Zealand, I want to buy you a drink. Maybe you could expand on your connection with New Zealand, and we could compare notes. Fantham Peak, on Mt. Taranaki, is actually named for one of my kinswomen, who was the first pakeha to reach the subsidiary peak that now bears her name.

I love this story. I love Emilia - one of the best actresses and humans on the Earth. You can see her heart in her performances. I love that she and Jason have a friendship like this and that she had an allie behind the scenes. And Jason meeting her in public places with his giant presence and yelling out lines from the movie!!! - PURE PERFECTION OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE BETWEEN FRIENDS. When you geniunely care about someone so much that your goal is to see them smile and laugh and make it thru. That is genuine love and friendship.
