I saw an interview where they said until the last 2 seasons Kit & Emilia hadn't even spent much time on set together... and in the earlier seasons he was with Rose Leslie all the time obviously bc they were filming together as love interests and eventually lovers & Kit ended up marrying her in either 2107 or 2018. I think they would've dated/ended up together had all those factors not been in play from the start..

Both of their Characters got ransacked . i guess they felt their rep would be a bit scorned. the way she's crying as if she's getting yelled at on the streets for Dany and Kit practically dranked himself into a spiral for Jon. those Dand D fucks were shit heads to begin with and annihilate the whole series by Fckng up the last ep, royally. that kind of weight is heavy on one's shoulders. the internet was kind of tearing Kit and Emilia half way apart in the week of the episode up till the middle of june . There were vids all over KZbin. Then people realized it wasn't these 2 at all. the other 2 knuckleheads bailed because another thing took place . the sabotaging was real and nasty and almost nauseating. the same writers did the same shit for "Boy meets World" . half the cast wasn't even acting 3 years after the show ended. it was weird.

I believe they are in fact good friends, but the Chemistry speaks for itself..... Kits wife is good friends with Emilia so I think this made her hold back her REAL feelings for Kit. JMO

This video, the bts, the music... makes this video so emotional. It is hard NOT to ship these two human beings together. But this shows me there is something special, regardless if he is married and they never dated...... you cannot deny there is something, I mean the way they speak about each other, "best mates" don't go all the way and beyond expressing this way.....Example: You don't see Nickolaj or Peter talk this way about Lena..... or even Jason, I mean Jason has expressed beautiful things about Em, but like Kit? yea NOPE....same with Em, she loves her mates, but the way she has expressed about him, not with anyone else. PICTURES, wow, come on ... unless they two came up with an agreement to ACT every time they are together and pretend to make it seem there is something between the two. Yes, he is married, but you see ...some people who marry, they don't marry their true love, or real love, soul mate, and maybe because of circumstances, who knows.... people reconnect after years later, some who marry the years pass and get divorced, some time will pass and crosses paths with the one person he loves (look at Ashton and Mila just an example)..... I have never seen or read, Kit expressing this type of way about his current wife.... HONESTLY..... I believe in destiny, time says it all, and if they are meant to be......it will happen....

When they started GOT they were all very young, they practically grew up together and it's normal for alchemy to develop. Love doesn't always bloom. But often yes. Kit and Rose also belong to the same "noble" world, from what I've read, and they first met on set. Maybe Kit and Emilia have "found" each other, but this doesn't necessarily mean that Kit and Rose's marriage is not true! And so their Love!
