Your books are amazing and insightful. I left a lengthy review on Amazon as "Edward W" under the Set It and Forget It book so I didn't want to reiterate all here under the comments section on KZbin. Your other book This is Natto is also excellent. These two books changed my life! Thanks so much. 👍

@@thesleepcoachschool8192 Daniel, you don't know how many times while reading your book I said to myself, "that's me", "that's what I do", "that's describes me", "that's exactly what I'm going through", "that's my situation"; over and over again. It almost felt like the book was written just for me. Because of that connection to what I was reading in Set It and Forget It, I knew with absolute confidence that I was going to get better with understanding I'll likely run into road blocks or set backs at times; I'm just staying the course. Everything else I did prior for sleep effort (things I described in my Amazon review), there never was that confidence, only wishful hope that it helps. I'm in the "foothold" phase at this time and expect to be eventually in recovery. It really came down to 2 key fundamentals once I understood how sleep works: less time in bed with a consistent wake-up time and doing enjoyable things during the day and also in the evening right up to when I get sleepy. Again, thank you so much!

Hi daniel, I have made big strides in managing insomnia with similar principles as your program. However, i recently went on a challenging trip and had a severe relapse. When travelling there are many challenges as it's more difficult to apply some of the coping tools that have helped me so much. Namely, sleeping in a small hotel room and there is no place other than the bed to relax on if I'm feeling anxious (going to my couch normally helps me befriend wakefulness). I would love if you made a video about this topic.

I have found particularly 9pm sleep aim is healthy as your body is naturally in some kind of calm phases insomnia anxiety has phases so best to get to bed early to relax. If then hours pass and you don’t I get it get up and go easy enjoy the time. Come back when your tired

Hi Daniel! I feel as though I've obsessively watched so many videos for my education but can see it as becoming an indirect habit and getting confused as to my direction towards sleep recovery - is there anyway to approach this? thank you so much

Hi! This is a very common question I get, and I would say that when it no longer feels nice, then it can be helpful to do something else. When it feels uplifting and nice, and we are learning, then that’s a different story, but when it feels like we’re trying avoiding anxiety, then it can be helpful to do something different.

Hi Daniel! So I feel like I’m starting to let go of sleep and just living my life. But one thing that keeps gnawing at me when I go to bed is trying to get myself as comfortable as possible. I find myself thinking “all I have to do is comfortable and then just chill.” But I never get comfortable. I move around all night trying to find the “right” sleeping position. Do you have any advice on this?

Hi Daniel! I relate so much to Emma. Is she a sleep coach. Would love to speak with her. I am a Therpaist as well and still in the struggle.

Anyone ever notice a roundabout symptom replacement between insomnia, anxiety, and pain? Meaning, when one becomes more accepted and fades, another one takes its place?
