I wish this is how everyone reacted. Only true dmc fans act this way. Alot of people are just so butthurt over the Nero design and the art style, hell there are a few select people who are trying to shit on the gameplay. Some others ones are people who don't recognize anything because they haven't play devil may cry in years. The only other ones I've seen are people who just haven't played a single devil may cry game.

Dante just got out of hell thats why he looks old af aha. The chronological order of DMC is this from youngest to oldest: 3, 1, 4, 2, 5. In DMC 2 he was on that same bike in hell at the end. I assume he just got out couple years later hence the beard. Dante's age in order: DMC 3: he's 18-19 DMC 1: he's 28-29 takes place ten years later after 3 DMC 4: director said he's approaching his 40s so we can assume 38 DMC 2: most likely over 40 some say he is 48-49 DMC 5: much older than 40, Nero took over his business since Dante went missing in DMC 2 and Nero aged, so we can assume Dante is near to his 48-49 after escaping hell.

The hype is so REAL! I haven’t played the games but one of my friends introduced me to them and I’ve watched the gameplays several times already. All of them even the one that doesn’t follow the story line or looks from the first four. Then I watched the trailer and I was geeking the fuck out! The scream at the end was me. The metro area they show at one part is similar to the desolate city that we fight the infected vehicles. and where we see dante driving through is Hell, but without the fire so more like the demon world they show in 3 but without the stairs n shit

Looking back at these reactions, it still makes me angry when we got these people who reacted and went like "YESSS, DmC2!" or "Ugh, fuck this shit, it's DmC2" or "Omg, is this a prequel to even DMC3? Why does Dante have a robot arm?" Like, I get it. DMC4 was 10 years ago. But for everyone to immediately assume it's Dante/Donte, and not Nero kind of annoys me, even now. I had to argue with like 10 different people back when this trailer was dropped, and had to explain "It's not DmC2... it's DMC5... That's Nero, not Dante", and they would be in full denial.
