Aloha, from my 50th and FINAL U.S. State - Hawaii! I (purposely) saved one of the best states for last, and I did it in my 31st birthday with my fiancé!
We spent 4 days in Maui, and I thought that it would be fun to document everything and share how expensive it is to travel here as NORMAL tourists. I think you will be shocked by how much we spent… but it was all worth it!
Now I’m planning a Eurotrip this summer, and all I can say is that travel (in general), is 2-3X as expensive as it was pre-pandemic. So just prepare yourselves if you plan to go anywhere!

Just got back from Hawaii myself! I must say that Maui was much more expensive than Oahu. It's so interesting seeing this, I also ate at HuiHui and stayed in the resort right behind it!

Also, that’s about the same amount of money you guys would have spent down here (Miami - Fort Lauderdale area) for the same amount of days, in 2023. I really thought Hawaii was going to be much more expensive than that.

Shimon Hawaii doesn’t have to be expensive. 1- Hawaiian airlines gives free round trip tickets for joining Check it out. 2- Marriott and Hilton have Timeshare preview packages Big suites for way less. 3- A lot of FREE things to do We have vlogs to show you Hope this helps we encourage everyone to go at least once. I have been to Oahu, Hawaii, Coron, Cebu and Palawan in Philippines, and Cabo San lucas, Mexico. Honestly, Philippines and Mexico is a lot better. Hawaii is the definition of overrated.

I LOVE Hawaii! It’s tropical, but also America. No culture shock, no currency games, no water hazards. You don’t have to worry about people ripping you off. Yea it’s expensive, but imo it’s worth it! There’s a lot of free stuff to do there so it balances itself out.

I just booked a trip to kauai last night. Bought the plane tickets and paid for the airbnb. Then woke up and had a full on panic attack about how much money i would be spending and canceled everything. I calculated it would of cost me about 5k for 6 nights with two people. I’m sure it would be an amazing trip but i don’t know if i could live with the insane price after i got back home.

Yo that's wild. I was in Japan for almost a month with my wife and it cost I think about 7k and some change, for both of us, incl flights. We traveled a good bit, even flew up to Hokkaido and did a road trip for I think 4 or 5 days. We did try to go cheap on stays and eating, but yeah... Wow I gotta buy land in Maui. I'll make millions.

I’ve been to Hawaii twice and both times, Maui has and is always will be my favorite of the islands. Stayed at the Grand Wailea with my wife on our honeymoon ten years ago. It is so expensive due to being it an island and importing is so expensive.

I went to Honolulu this last year and i only spent about 1 grand for about a week not counting flight and hotel and i did all the fun things like, shark cage diving and parasailing and exploring. Even rented out a mustang for $70 a day, its not as expensive as everyone makes it seem.

I took me and my mom to honolulu and it cost 3 grand for round trip tickets plus a week at a hotel then spent another 2 grand for food, souvenirs, a luau, a 16 stop tour of the island for the both of us. Total spent five grand didn't even need a car
