Hi Abdul, very nice video and tells everything about Istanbul for the tourists. 50 min from airport to Taksim is really good, normally it will take more related to traffic. You can use taxi, but you should be careful with the drivers, sometimes they will try to fool you. It is good idea to follow the google maps or any offline map in the journey. The hamburger in 16:48 we called it wet burger which is spicy and so tasty :) I hope you enjoyed your visit :)

I have an advise for people travelling from UK. We got withdraw money from the atm. We always got a better rate than the currency changers. Also we got the same rate from atm as was on the internet. Also be careful not to use taxis if you must then make sure to give them the exact money .. Don't take notes from them they give fake notes

I just got back from 5 days Istanbul. Istanbul is really beautiful with the scenic and impressive landmarks in Sulthanahmet, bospurus and the modern taksin square area. Sadly I've got mixed feelings about Istanbul. Immediately after landing at the brand new Istanbul airport you arrive, it seems, one big tourist trap. You pay for the bag trolley, the only currency exchange booths at the airport give you a 17% lower exchange than in the city and they lie saying they give you the best available, no tourist simcards available other than expensive 15gb simcards which are to much data for 5 days. Then inside the Sulthanahmet district you will get husselt, approached and harassed by dodgy guys trying to sell you something or scam you. Random guys walk up to you with these offers constantly. Restaurants are extremely over priced in Sulthanahmet compared to other more local Turkish restaurant. It doesn't matter where you go in Sulthanahmet, you will probably always get a tourist menu with tripple the prices locals pay. We had dinner at a simple restaurant and ordered 3 normal dishes and were charged 50 Euro's. If you then walk for 30 min into a local Turkish neighborhood you will get the same dinner with better dishes for like 20 Euro's. Yes, I enjoyed Istanbul for the experience, NO we will not visit again nor will recommend it. It's definitely a developing country with lots of chaos and hurdles to be overcome. I met some really nice Turkish people in Istanbul but dispite the beauty of Sulthanahmet I always felt being cheated or scammed in this district. Enjoy Turkey and stay away from the big tourist happenings.

It is much more developed country than Germany,France or Great Britain at the moment and in Istanbul everything is much better organised than in Paris, London or Berlin which I know very well !!! The year is not over yet and the number of tourists visited Turkey for 2019 reached 52 000 000 (52 millions) and that's why Turkey and Istanbul can keep growing and growing without you !!!
