@jon6309
@jon6309 3 жыл бұрын
@@selen7138 One thing you might not like about Hawaii is the prices for things. I am so jealous of bloggers buying high quality things in Turkey for really good prices but I have to remember people in Turkey get paid differently so it may not be a good price for them. I think Turkey is an underrated country and deserves more attention for tourist destinations. I’ve seen videos and it parts of Istanbul reminds me of a mix of San Francisco and Venice.
@selen7138
@selen7138 3 жыл бұрын
@@jon6309 What i believe is if they want you to pay a lot for something in a new place you are visiting, its usually not the real experience of the destination but more like an artificial money-door. And yes, Turkey is affected so much by the inflation but still it ,apparently, depends on the person. And about the impression of my country, you are absolutely right. Especially, showing Turkey as an arabic country is the biggest mistake you can ever make. We are way different and not consist of only Blue Mosque or Capadoccia. There are many- and complicated- reasons that causes these consequences(such as, yoghurt is Turkish;) ) but at the end of the day, whoever visits here would agree with the idea of Turkey being different and impressive on its own.

I believe it's a scam. One vlogger experienced that, someone will invite you for drinks once you agreed he will brought you to different bars. Once you ordered your drink, the accomplices will arrive and order their drinks on your name. Once you realized that , they'll aggressively harass you to pay the bill. They usually ask $1,000.

Suriyeli yaşayıp türklerle iyi geçinen ve ayriyeten işletmesinde türk tabelası taşıyanlara sözüm yok. Ama sadece arapça yazmak düpedüz bir asimilasyon operasyonudur. İ don't say anything about a person from syria who good with turks and using turkish articles in his store. But if he is using only arabic articles, it is an operation of assimilation.

If you want to see the top 12 museums like Topkapi (incl harem that has an xtra fee) Hagia sophia, the archelogical museum i would recoment the Museum Pass Istanbul (can be bought at the museum). But be warned, Istanbul is easy to fall in love with

As a French Turk who visits Turkey every summer, Im really living like a king when I visit Turkey because of the high inflation in my parents country. But I do feel bad for the locals who earn minimum wage every month. Red bull costs like €1.30 in most western countries which is 9 lira. In Turkey it costs about 4.5 lira. Mcdonalds, dominos and more all cost 2x less in Turkey. Even the oil/gas prices are pretty cheap for western tourists. Hotels are like 3x cheaper than in western countries.
