In North America and Western Europe, Mongolia is less well known than South Korea, but at night in Mongolia, where there is less light pollution, the Milky Way and dinosaur fossils are worth more than the war sites in China's Qinhuangdao and Vietnam.

Cheap processed isle food, candies and non nutritious juices and soft beverages all inexpensive. Also, those prices are irrelevant, since one wouldn’t live on these junk food alone. But If you look at the essentials such as fresh produce local, seasonal even imported ones; quality dairy, meat, grains , and other nutritional items that one would want to consider are all even higher price range than in USA. But that’s just my observation.

Cheaper than the UK. I'm guessing these prices are set for the average annual salary

It may look like the majority of the products are cheaper than some countries but it's really not. The average salary in Mongolia is around 280-320$ per month. So that means low salary-expensive products for us in Mongolia. It's so fucked up

By todays look, living here isn't probably the best idea. I mean if you take a look at Korea or maybe even Singapore, they offer alot of job opportunities with very good paying salary. Here in Mongolia you work 24hours a day just to get 400$ MONTHLY, people struggle to pay rent, pay taxes without borrowing them from people they know. But if you learn decent Mongolian you can probably find a job here as an teacher or a translator. But yeah thank you for reading this and thank you for being interested in Mongolia as many people don't even know this country exists LOL!

dude! wtf?? you did a ''price video'' without showing MEAT, RICE, POTATOS, VEGETABLES and PASTA. The VERY first thing people see, in order to judge an economy, is these BASIC comodities. And in contrast I saw chocolate, beer and biscuits......

The original video is just a comparison. People are curious when they visit a foreign country what the cost of similar or same products is as back home. That’s all.
