Heard how a very large retailer like Migros will accept a 1000 swiss franc without a problem, and I'm from San Antonio Tx USA and yeah can find many of these items much cheaper depending on where we shop . Many factors which might be cheaper is specific brand we buy . Milk could be " generic " " store brand " or brand name . My question - are representive of average prices or there a great deal of variance ? Here in USA we've generic vs national brands which are more expensive

Yeah, I’ve tried buying something small and using a 200. They don’t have a problem with it at all. In the video, they are the rather “branded” names. If you to lidl or aldi here, they would be carrying the generic brands and it’s cheaper.. 👍

Yes overall it seems more expensive than here San AntonioTexas USA. Like I've said before depending on specific Brand like cheaper " store brand " ( label ) which we also call generic vs nationally recognized brands ( heavily advertised ) prices will vary quite a lot from each other. Do you also have this option to choose a less expensive brand ( label ) or not ? Milk lowest generic prices per gallon was just over 2 USD. That's just under 4 liters. That's one more issue of comparing items because we use imperial system vs your country using metric. Take butter at 250 grams which is 1/4 kilo. I really need calculator for this but let's call it half pound for 2.8 francs ? Still it seems high for USA prices. Pandemic has caused increases in everything unfortunately. Ground beef here depends on fat content ratio. 80/ 20 is highest fat ratio and cheapest at less that 4 USD a pound.
