Which area did you get the apartment? any suggestions about the area which is more accessible?
@WeAreHarvestingdreams2 жыл бұрын
Personally I think you would get a better deal and accessibility in Pārdaugava or the other side of the river from city center 👍

@@WeAreHarvestingdreams thanks for the reply. You are doing great work. Videos are very informative and useful. I am planning to relocate to Latvia in Apr- May. Any suggestions?

It all depends on what you are planning to do and your daily activities. All my life i have lived in the centrum of Riga and i think its the best place to live.When it comes to areas to live basically everywhere is safe ( riga is half empty and very safe)

HEY DUDES! :) Good video. I'm curious about some of the other costs of living, such as Health insurance/medical expenses, internet service, mobile phone service. Sirsnīgs paldies!
@WeAreHarvestingdreams2 жыл бұрын
Hey dude 😎 thanks for watching and the nice comment! We can't say for sure but on avarage Latvia has cheaper health care than different parts of Europe and world. For internet and mobile services it's quite avarage to EU levels and considerably cheap 👍 hope this helps 😊

Hey, thanks for the informative videos. I want to ask about buying used car in Riga, what are the steps you can do to buy a good car and avoid scammers? And as I checked car boards in Riga, there are some cheap cars which look nice, is it really the case that cars are cheap?
@WeAreHarvestingdreams2 жыл бұрын
Hey dude 😎 thanks for watching the videos 👍 to be honest with you you have to be careful about buying a car. It doesn't always mean people are scammers but almost always people are selling cars that they don't want to fix themselves, so you have to count in another 2-3k extra for fixing the car after buying it. One tip we can offer you is ask the seller to go with you to a car repair shop together and do a maintenance test to see beforehand, what will need to be fixed so to understand the real cost of the car. 👍 Check out our video when we bought a car we talk about our experience with buying our first car in Riga 😎👍

@WeAreHarvestingdreams2 жыл бұрын
Hi and thanks for the comment! I checked out the listings recently and even though the city center is always going to be more expensive it doesn't seem like the prices have gone up significantly. 👍

Hi, great video!! Do they have uber and food delivery app? Is it available 24x7? What would be the rent for a furnished/serviced apartment (not shared) for a single person in the city center? (with utility)
@WeAreHarvestingdreams2 жыл бұрын
Hi thanks for watching! 😊 We don't have Uber but there is Bolt and Wilt which is pretty much the same thing under different name. City center is the most expensive, so probably including utilities i think it would start from about €400 excluding electricity,heating, internet and gas. Which would add up to couple hundred extra depending on usage. 👍

Hi, can I ask you about the average salary for a manager working in the airlines industry in Latvia
@WeAreHarvestingdreams Жыл бұрын
Hi, of course it always depends on previous experience and what manager position, but probably the range would be somewhere in 1500-2300 before taxes.

What are children expenses here in Latvia, especially primary school expenses?
@WeAreHarvestingdreams2 жыл бұрын
Hi, we don't have children ourselves so it's hard to be precise, however what we have heard it's not cheap in any way 👍
@darbas572 жыл бұрын
You do not need a car, you can use bolt.
@WeAreHarvestingdreams2 жыл бұрын
Bolt is a great solution, but traveling longer distances more frequently might get more expensive than owning a car 👍
