How family friend of Steve Harwell remembers late Smash Mouth singer

Pamela Adkins, family friend of late Smash Mouth singer Steve Harwell, bought all of the South Bay band's CDs on sale at Streetlight Records. She told ABC7 News that Harwell was "a really good person" and was kind and generous.

Sorry no can do, I never drank and will never drink in my life. It's a choice, and your choice alone. He had fame and money, but he chose to drink and do drugs. No one forced the man to do it. It's not a disease you catch that makes you do it. He made that choice.@@LB00146
