Happy anniversary to FNAF! I decided to release my anniversary video a couple days before the day of to try to not oversaturate that exact day. This is also my first real FNAF video in over a year, which is pretty crazy. I have had a tumultuous relationship with this series, especially professionally, but ultimately no matter how much I try not to, I still love it so damn much. I had to do something for the anniversary and since I'm so familiar with the nerdcore scene and have so much more passion for music than games, I thought this would be fitting and a fun idea. I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you to everyone that has worked on the FNAF series over the last decade to provide so much to myself and millions of others. Thank you to all of you for sticking with me and watching my goofy ahh videos on the internet. And thank you to all of my friends, most of which I met because of this very series. Here's to another 10 years!

It’s my crackpot theory that It’s Been So Long inspired Henry as a character. Flip the genders in the song and you can easily interpret it as Henry going mad after loosing Charlie, with the Puppet motif lampshading both the Marionette and Lefty.

What's even crazier about left behind is that it also predicted a bit of fnaf 6 and help wanted. One of the lyrics says "They burned us alive! They made us look like clowns!" and in help wanted it shows 4 endos being smelted in a furnace; people associate this with the idea that the fnaf 1 endos where burned and made into the funtimes which would then culminate with what Henry says about molten Freddy in fnaf 6. It's insane how much that song got right.

@@CoolattasLab I meant mostly in terms of video games, but you aren't wrong. MLP did have a lot. I mean moreso the phenomonom of writing songs for a video game (not just covers or stuff) was very much originally started by the Minecraft community for a good 4 years or so was mostly just a 'them' thing. FNAF was the first series outside of them to get music on a large scale. Even then it took a while to get going, there weren't a lot of them by a lot of different people til the FNAF 3 and especially FNAF 4 era. Then Undertale started getting some. Then Bendy and Hello Neighbor, and finally in the last couple of years with people like Stupendium it's fully left the Horror and Tumblr side and gone global. MLP was also super early, but TV shows were in general slower to have this happen than video games. Hazbin Hotel was the next one to really breakout there. I've got a core memory with Dance to Forget. Back in my first year of middle school, they'd run these sort of "olympics" between the grades, where people would sign up to compete in different sports, but one of the competitions was a talent show. I ended up deciding to sign up to it and sing the song because I had zero self awareness and because most people probably wouldn't know it was from a game. Come the day of the show and when it's my turn, my friend and I go to connect my phone to the audio system to play the instrumental, but it didn't work. She also had pendrive with it as back up, but it didn't go as well. So, I had to go infront of the entire middle and high school and sing Dance to Forget without any music. And despite being interrupted two times (cuz people didn't know when it'd end), I somehow got first place lmao-

Die in a fire introduced the concept of William using a fire axe as his signature weapon. To this day when someone thinks about William Afton commiting violent acts they always come up with an axe in theirs depiction, a unique idea reminiscent of the Shining that makes him more unique and stand out from other serial killers. However the axe was never aknoledged in official media in any capacity, from the first Silver eyes book to the movie Afton's weapon was a knife. It really puts in perspective just how much of the characterisations of each characters, events and series was completely made up by the fans either for Untertainment or to fill in the many plot holes of the series.

i really like it when fnaf songs are written in such a way where they still work as its own song if you take out the fnaf context. i mean i dont mind songs that blatantly say fnaf words or have obvious emphasis on words or play on words that are associated with the game (bite, eat, murder, horror, etc.) but to me songs that can stand on their own even outside of fnaf often times feels like they just show how much care are put into these kinds of songs. maybe cause that's how i usually see it even outside of fnaf. when songs created specifically for games, movies, or shows capture the essence of the media rather than saying the iconic lines or names, to me that just speaks volume on skills and talent into making such songs. back to fnaf, its been so long can still work as an emotional song about loss. like sure we got the obvious and iconic "man behind the slaughter" line, but i do think the song can hold itself as a stand alone song about loss and grief of a parent from a murderer. also so many vocaloid songs have this kind of themes, about horror and murder, and they do well telling stories within the song.

For dance to forget, the chorus having that one figure of speech (i don't have the name of it) where you repeat the last word of the sentence in the beginning of the next line (i hate my metal bones - my bones and gears creak in my chest) really emphasize the loop idea, and paired with the melody it gives the impression of a downward spiral : Not only do the lyrics flow better but it also gives the idea of a spinning ballerina or a decent in madness. I don't know if i'm clear but that was very clever. My personal favorite fnaf song is "it's not over" by CK9C. First of all, the music rythm is stumbleing for the whole song except the ending, making it all more epic. The two voices, one feminin high pitch inexpressive and one more masculin, messed up and loud, works great in contrast, and with the way the lyrics are written it doesn't sound like they're talking to each other but rather than one entity talking to you with two voices, refering to ennard. While the lyrics are vague enough that it could be appleid to multiple fnaf games (mainly sister location and pizzeria simulator) but i think it's in the song favor : CK9C's lyrics aren't usually the best part of their work , also they're not the kind of vague where it could be appleid to any kind of evil monster. We have a repetitions of lyrics relating to watching obsessively and being watched by some monsterous entity, and being stuck in an unhealthy loop of traumatic memories. it's insane that i failed litterature class back when i was in high school with all the nonsense i can write on silly robot bear songs.

These songs hit hard on an emotional level, which is something you never usually get in the games as it doesn't drive its full focus on that, plus the lore was probably still confusing, even to this day. Tbh, I think the FNAF songs are much better at telling a story of the FNAF lore than the FNAF books (imo). The FNAF songs have always felt real FNAF all along and everything about the songs are just peak as always. I just look back at the old lore and then look at the modern lore just realizing FNAF doesn’t feel like the same anymore. But listening to the FNAF songs, it hits so different; the nostalgia, the music, the beautiful lyrics… I’m just completely baffled that FNAF songs can tell a better story than modern FNAF lore. And I think The Living Tombstone would be happy that Scott Cawthon used the FNAF 1 song for the end credits of the FNAF movie. That song is another example of predicting the future but also lining up with the Movie’s plot. The reason I looked at your video is because I feel like the FNAF lore is mostly covered by duct tape with the books but the games can’t tell a story because of that. But funny enough, the songs were the memories that carried FNAF throughout these 10 years. Thanks for this video because I really learned that music can tell a story.

I would have to say, after all my years of listening to fnaf songs, Left behind is still my number one favorite out of all of them.

One of the better ones in recent years imo is Man On The Internet's "Unbroken" wich has come the closest to nailing my headcanon of William Afton. The song is an earworm, the lyrics have some great bars, and that maniacal laugh at the end is haunting; it's the perfect Afton song.

About the DA games song, especially with the second lyric seems more like a reference to the animatronics, and Afton. How he vocalizes generally implies William, in the second lyric he lyalks about the animatronics, being, ‘re-born’ or reimagined, made cute. Though it can be interpreted in so many ways but, yeah. There are a dozen ways that DA could have interpreted the games and trailer to create the lyrics he just happened to write a song that perfectly balanced being vague and encompassing the themes of Fnaf and even got lucky with the games final product being able seamlessly work with the song.

A real good FNAF song is "Control" by Noah McKnight. In my opinion it's one of the best sl FNAF fan songs. Don't know if you have Heard it or not but check it out. I might be a little biased because I love the song so much. This was an amazing video and if you want to make the part 2

This may sound very odd, I’ve still haven’t sat down and listened to any of these fnaf fan songs. I only heard the living tombstone’s music during the fnaf movie credits sequence.

I think Not The End by Sayonara Maxwell is a good villain song for William, it captures the deep creepy voice well and his lack of remorse for murdering the kids.

there's also certain fnaf songs like march onward to your nightmare, where you know full well the sfm animation of said song will have a damn animatronic brawl., and that shit entertaining

Also FNAF The Musical is the best thing ever and I honestly would go as far as to say that I like its lore more than the original FNaF, of course it's supposed to be comedic, while OG FNaF is supposed to be scary but idk, the way The Musical reconstructs the story by using its elements to turn it into a wholesome parody is so satisfying and creative, it's also hilarious (despite being old) and a damn BANGER. Random Encounters kinda peak in general ngl, these guys are so creative and talented it's insane

A underrated fnaf song in my opinion is “Afton Family” which goes over every member of the family (expect the mom ofc) and what let you their demise There’s the og version and, (personally better), APAngryPiggy remix version (fr their remixes are so good, also check out their “It’s been so long” remix is absolute banger)

If I had any favourite FNaF songs I would probably go we want out, another round, you can’t hide and let me though they are all good and there’s the FNaF 1 song which is a banger and there’s survive the night, five long nights and break my mind which are really good and there we are the phantom’s and phantom’s in the night that are really good and I personally feel like phantom’s in the night is kinda underrated is really good and I think it represents the phantom’s really well

FNAF songs are honestly so iconic to me, a bunch of the ones mentioned in the video are ones I could ramble about forever, but I've got my own notables as well which I'll go through now: - This Opportunity - Tynado (THIS ONE'S BEEN ON MY MIND FOR A WHILE. It's an Ennard song and the quality of it narratively/lyrically speaking is so goddamn impressive to me. Would 100% recommend a listen if you haven't) - Replay Your Nightmare - Tryhardninja (IF I DO NOT SEE MORE PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT THIS SONG I SWEAR. I SWEAR. Tryhardninja can be hit or miss for me sometimes but this one is 100% a hit for me. It's pretty good lyrics-wise and do not lie to me and claim that that instrumental is NOT a banger. Because it is) - Don't Sleep Tonight - Rockit Gaming (not too big a fan of rockit gaming but I love love LOVE this one. I like a lot of UCN songs in general (and usually i have the same reason for that bias every time, being that the instrumentals on UCN songs just go so insane.) lyrics-wise this particular one isn't a stand-out but i do like the general vocal production on this one, i will not deny that rockit gaming can sing) - Ultimate Fright - DHeusta (same main reason as the other UCN ones, banger instrumental. but also the lyrics are so insanely good on this one, it feels a little hypnotic to listen to sometimes) - Too Far - CK9C (my favorite FNAF 4 song actually. FNAF 4 has a lot of great fansongs but rarely ever have I seen anything looking at things from the perspective of the older brother/foxy mask in the aftermath of the bite of 83 and its implications are actually pretty cool if you view it through the lens of foxy mask being michael. And actually while I'm on the subject of CK9C i recommend the rest of their FNAF fansongs because they're all supremely good, ESPECIALLY It's Not Over) - We Are Aware - Dolvondo (ft CG5) (SISTER LOCATION SONGS JUST SLAP HUH. anyway. it's a little dated in some aspects but just as a song it's just a really cool listen. vocals are really good on a lot of parts too. i'm slightly iffy on the part with the goofy voices but at the same time that's the point and it doesn't bog the rest of the song down for me at all) Like It Or Not - Dawko & CG5 (pretty popular but I do feel the need to mention it still. there's some slight details that aren't entirely accurate but I think it follows the story of FNAF 6 very well and I think making it a duet specifically did help with its popularity bc of interpretative reasons) - Painted Faces - Trickywi (IT WOULD BE REMISS OF ME TO NOT MENTION THIS ONE HONESTLY... there's not a lot of things that make me cry and i tell you this song brought me to goddamn TEARS. it also just kinda makes you think imo bc i'm still struggling with trying to pinpoint whose perspective the song is from. either way it's still so so good 100% give it a listen if you're prepared) - any Miatriss or Saymaxwell song (a guilty pleasure of mine honestly. lyrically and narratively... these songs make almost zero sense with canon most of the time. lmao. (btw this isnt a dig at the grammar of the lyrics; for one thing, i understand what they're trying to say regardless of canon accuracy, and for two, i understand english is not their first language so it makes sense.) HOWEVER, the vocals and instrumentals are insanely good and the canon accuracy thing gets... a little better the more recent the songs are. kinda falls into the same niche as It's Been So Long where the narrative doesn't focus on being canon-compliant but rather takes its own interesting approach to its respective game's narrative) - Revenge - Rezyon (as far as i'm aware the original upload is now gone but there's plenty of reuploads and animations using the song so it's still out there. but moving on, i genuinely love coming back to this song again and again. banger instrumental, catchy in general, and the lyrics are pretty good even if a little dated and not all that canon-compliant. not to slander Can You Survive but i think this one's the better of the two rezyon songs that are popular) - Die In A Fire - TheLivingTombstone (a classic i just so happen to adore. also bc it focuses on the events of the FNAF3 minigames (specifically afton's thoughts on the animatronics and by extension the souls inside at that point in time) and i think it's just really cool) I'll add more if I can think of any others I like but I mentioned plenty either way so... there ya have it :p

This was a great video but all honesty I thought it’s been so long was made switching between the POV’s of “Mrs afton” (or whoever gave birth to the afton kids, one of witch supposedly possessing golden Freddy) and Charlie ( who supposedly possesses the puppet)

21:00 THAT'S INSAAAANE I'VE NEVER HEARD THIS SONG BEFORE THAT'S SO GOOD I CAN'T BELIEVE BRO PREDICTED IT A MONTH BEFORE THE GAME CAME OUT literally the line that goes "Just let me out Let me out of here I'm going in circles!" THE GAME WASNT EVEN RELEASED UNTIL MAY 2019 AND THE MOBILE UPDATE WHERE GLITCHTRAP LITERALLY SAYS 'LET ME OUT' WASNT UNTIL OCTOBER 2020. HOW DID HE KNOOOWWWW Also I'm so happy to see Already Dead in here, one of the best Vanny songs tbh.
