One thing about the whole tnpgames situation is that this isn’t just a “kids will be kids” thing. People are accountable for the hate they spew towards others, and it is irresponsible to not call them out for being a piece of shit, as how else are they supposed to understand the issues with what they’re doing. It’s tiring to see people act as if nobody gains the ability to feel empathy until the age of 18.

I'm actually a pretty casual fan of Toytopia, as I enjoy Wallace as a character a lot. I hope things turn out okay for Combo Bomb and TNP and both their game's development. I also hope TNP grows out of their current ways.

Okay so I call myself a digital artist for the clout and while I personally can't comment on the game design(though I can say don't hire minors ffs) as I'm not a dev, I can safely say that Logo, on top of being trashy as hell to use a bought model for your logo, is 100% AI gemerated, specifically ran through an ai filter, between the mishapen eyes, the confusing lighting, and the disconnected details (suit melting into tie, teeth just randomly strewn about the mouth, etc), and the fact it's in the same exact pose as the promo image... Honestly if they hadn't used other models from the pack elsewhere I'd swear they screenshotted the storefront and ran it through an ai filter and went Logo Done!

A very insightful video. I didn't even know about this studio's existence, but I think you did a really good job on highlighting it's history and some of the cracks to be noticed with the studio. I also didn't know there was all that drama with TNP, kinda crazy I missed it. Overall a great video!

Tbh it's genuinely frustrating the number of people I've seen in the BATIM community who can't handle even the slightest of criticism towards the game. Even as a hardcore fan who's followed it since the beta, I still have to acknowledge its major flaws. It's refreshing to finally see someone whose opinions about it are unbiased.

We have always thought that this path which we embarked on with good intentions, was about giving developers a chance in learning and gaining experience in the work we do. That was our intention, to give out a chance to someone. Both developers in question were our first that trusted in our partnership and at the time, it seems like a great idea. We genuinely just wanted to help out and grow together, in our minds that is what we were doing. We saw talent, and we wanted to help spread that. We wanted to try and give an opportunity that they can also learn from, and even help finance other bigger projects with but we might have been a bit too "ambitious" about it. We were in the wrong. As the video mentioned, in the end we do hold the responsibility of certain actions that we should have addressed sooner and taken action, and for this we apologize. We are truly sorry about this. We were wrong. We are still young and we want to learn from our mistakes to hopefully improve for the better. Things gets tough sometimes, and we weren't ready for all of this. This was our first "big" thing, and we are still learning in the process. We never force developers to stay with us, nor we have any control on how much work or development time they do as we give them the free liberty to do as they wish when it comes to developing games. The thing we mostly like to discuss is the pricing, so after the platform cuts - the developers gets the majority and with the rest we can continue supporting others just like them. This is also something that we should have paid close attention too. We are very sorry about this. We are sorry for anyone that was offended and we would like to ask you to give us a chance. We are currently taking all the feedback and criticism and rest assured, we will be taking necessary action. tbh, i acutally supported tnp games, although playtown sucked, i wanted to see it suceed. Now seeing the true natrue of the dev, even if hes 14, its just made me now highly concerned about how kids these days are believing this sorta language is considered "cool" or "funny"

I want to point out something: around 15:33 you can see a plushie on the ground, that plushie is called Nessie and it belongs to Titanfall/Apex Legends. Nowhere in the credits mention the person who created this model, neither that they used, meaning that this game actual has stolen models and Respawn (OG creators) can actually file some sort of lawsuit against Mascot Bro Studio. this show the lack of quality control that this company has with their products

As a kid I got called mature for my age often by plenty of adults. Every single one of them was wrong, but I had anxiety, so I pushed myself to meet their expectations instead of letting myself grow and learn the way all children need to. Maturity requires age. There is no child alive prepared to be doing what these kids are doing and come out even remotely okay. Straight up I dont think kids should be involved in any job that puts them out into the public like that.
