When he's doing his intro I feel like I'm in the finest restaurant, getting a read-out of the delicious specials of the day, from the chef himself. Every dish sounding tastier then the last, and I can't wait to sink my teeth into it.
@darrylschultz64794 жыл бұрын
@just saying Ha ha. Yeah, and assuming it hadn't been pre-planned, what are the odds that a read-out of the dishes in a restaurant would just happen to be said in the order of increasing tastiness?😵

I am awaiting your new series "How old is it" will you be covering evolution in it? The baby humming bird story got me thinking that you might! I hope you will, There is need for this type of elegant simplicity in the explanations of these very important theories to the average person. Mr. Butler, First, let me start with saying that your videos are incredibly informative, easy to follow, and overall, an absolute pleasure to watch -- thank you for this! My father was an engineer, and contracted with NASA back in Hubble's mirror mishap days, and I got to grow up immersed in everything "space" with him -- many nights spent together with a telescope studying and wondering what else lies out there we cannot see! He got sick and eventually passed, and along with that, so did my interest in continuing on with the hobby. However, I found your videos a couple of years ago, and they singlehandedly have revived my interest to the point that I am back out with a scope and camera again. So thank you again -- I really do appreciate it! Side question here if you don't mind -- what program(s) do you use to make these videos? I have been thinking of putting together similar videos (albeit not as in-depth) for my four year old daughter. Hopefully to spark an interest so that someday I can continue the tradition with her. In the mean time, I thought maybe some neat videos for her would be nice, and if you do not mind sharing, I would love to know the program you use for it? Thank you again, Mr. Butler.

+David Butler In regards to black holes how do you feel about the developments surrounding the Ads/CFT correspondence and also black holes relationship to superconductivity, do you feel that this approach seems to be headed in the right direction or do you favor any of the other candidate models that exists (everything from the "baby universe idea" to magnetospheric externally collapsing object, to string theories dealing of black holes ect..) and explain why? Fantastic video, I learned so much once more. Hanny's Voorwerp really intrigues me, with its green ionized oxygen. Question, could you breathe in those gas clouds? I know it's unlikely but I still wanted to ask. I mean the clouds seem pretty dense. Also as soon as I saw it pop up on the screen I couldn't help but wonder what you'd do with the name, if you would say object or voorwerp. The emphasis is on the oo, and not pronounced as in the sound an owl makes but more as in door. Just so you know. And I still don't get dark matter, I'm really trying but I think I'd need someone to ask questions while he was explaining to fully understand. The video still helped me out tons either way, so thanks a bunch.
@howfarawayisit8 жыл бұрын
+eiebsrebla Thanks for your comments. I'm always getting the non-English pronunciations wrong. The density of gas molecurles in a gas cloud is just a tiny fraction of the amount in an atmosphere. You could not breath enough to live.
