I love the concept of this video but the power levels in dbz have been explained in the daizenshuu. They aren’t multiplicative. They are more like decibels in sound. For a better breakdown of it Seththeprogrammer has a video on where end of Naruto Shippuden sasuke and Naruto would be when they were in their final forms. They sit at about a power level of 180. And they were wiping out mountains casually. So a difference in 180 and 210 is literally earth shattering. The reason power levels in dbz exist was mostly because it’s hard to draw people going faster or punching harder when they have been casually light speed since og dragon ball. But they became a meme over time because of how crazy high the numbers are. But the reason they are like that is author intent. Meme or not. Kinda like Superman sneezing away a galaxy. Got to literal super Saiyan God (not blue) in base. Did he train for it? No. Is he still a joke that gets one kicked by most real villains? Yes. I think the conversion numbers work better before any sort of training is applied to either side, because in DBZ, we can see that at a certain point, it is not much that the physical side of them is the one improving but their ki and their way to control it is what really allows them to fight even harder every time Meanwhile, we have absolutely no clue what taking into account non-physical sources would look like in OPM, we do not know if consistent training would have a linear, exponential or any sort of impact in their metaphysical strength; I'd say so just by looking at the few cases of characters doing training over short periods of time and yet having an explosion in their capabilities So yeah, converting the values becomes more inaccurate the more either of the two people measured has trained

I don't usually like to go into the weeds on this, but if you really want to know, most people that claim 'Saitama is a gag/parody character, therefore he solos because lol' are either intentionally being dumb because they think it's funny, or they are full-on delusional. OPM's author has gone on record saying Saitama ISN'T meant to be purely a joke character. The 'joke' part of Saitama is that he has the strength of an anime protagonist from the END of their series, but he has it at the BEGINNING of his. The truth is, we can't actually measure Saitama's actual cross-verse strength based on anything other than vibes and best guesses based on incomplete evidence, as literally every feat he's ever shown isn't his full power. For example, if you tried to extrapolate his power from the Boros fight, you might put him at multi-planetary to star level, where if you applied the same scaling to the Cosmic Garou fight, you'd likely calc him somewhere between solar system level to galaxy level. And hey - if you want to theorycraft what his power level is based on these feats, go nuts, that can be fun - but anyone giving you a definitive 'Saitama clears' OR a definitive 'Saitama gets clapped' is just wrong - we literally DO NOT KNOW. But the important thing to take away is that anyone claiming Saitama wins solely based on his 'gag character' status is either trying to start a fight or just plain wrong, and in either case, do try to ignore them, as no good comes out of those arguments.

The thing that does leave me with some doubt is about how likely is the following: up to this point we have clearly seen that he is commpletely unmatchable in terms of raw power, with such things as speed or strenght, but how would he be against non-usual methods of defeat? Since we established that his state as a "gag character" is not something we should consider, thus rendering him (as far as we know in that regard) as not invincible, then could he get erased from existence by a reality warper? And if time affects him, can he be aged to dust by a being with time powers? Furthermore Roshi in the 21st Budokai did the same with a full power kamehameha. This Roshi is weaker than red ribon ark Goku who is probably just as powerfull with a normal kamehameha, but then 22nd Budokai Goku should be on the level of potency of full power Roshi so he is Moon level. After that King Piccolo tanked an attack from Goku and just like Radish he took no damage, and this was old Piccolo! So after reganing his youth Piccolo stated to be infinetly stronger and so powerfull that he could destroy the moon, 23rd Budokai Goku makes Tien, who was allmost as strong as king Piccolo, look like fodder. And the Piccolo that did no damage to Radish is just as strong with clothes on. So probably large Planetary level. Old Piccolo is Moon+/small planetary, Young Piccolo is planetary and Radish is much above it. Last in DB with a power level of 10K it's stated you can blow up planets, but it's probably any size planet and earth is a small planet in DB standars so planets like Júpiter should be the mid tier.

DB power from Z fighters are typically suppressed. Which we see when Goku of a BP of 412 go up to 1200 with a Kamehameha and piccolo with 408 went up to 1330-1480 with the special beam canon.

Good and interessting video but I wouldn't say such a comparison isn't very logical due to ligical inconsistencies in Dragonball. Because even Roshi, who is weaker than Son Goku and Piccolo by the beginning of DBZ who had 400 can destroy the moon. Meaning that the Farmer woth the shotgun is less than 80 times weaker than the power to destroy the moon. Even if you wouldn't count the same feat of Piccolo abd say that Frieza with 120mio powerlevel was barely able to destroy a planet similar to earth (which by far isn't barely), he still would have 1/24million th of the power destroying earth wich he totaly hasn't. The are clearly logical inconsistencies the writer pretty much didn't care about. And the powerlevels in Dragonball where only implementet way after moondestructing feats. So the only logical way to not have those inconsistencies is to assume that powerlevels up to 1000 or a bit under don't go linear but grow exponentially. Making your points invalid. I don't know so much about OPM but the 400 at least needed to destroy the moon would be 4000. And I doubt the bear with 905 has more than ⅕ the strenght destroying the moon or the demon level spider monster with 6999 either. Because I thing being able to destroy the moon would make it a god level monster

1) The scouter isn't scanning the gun. The man himself had a power level of 5. I would have said a 5x multiplier made more sense, BUT... 2) As many have pointed out, DBZ power levels are not linear. An average man has a power level of 5. Let's even use your 10x multiplier to skew this as in your favor as possible. It has been demonstrated that a power level of like, 600 (less that that probably ,but I am being conservative in the estimate here) in DBZ can destroy the moon. that's a 6000 power level in your OPM scale. Bang couldn't even destroy a meteor, and you're saying every S-class hero is over 7000, but 6000 should enough to destroy the moon if your scale way correct... Don't get me wrong, well researched and well made video, but I do not think your scales are right.

Muten-Roshi had a power level of 132 when they got the scouters. He destroyed the moon several years in advance. Although you can argue if he got stronger or not but I think 200-300 was his powerlevel when firing the kamehameha at the moo

@@z.z.3841 It was 139, but also: 1) Roshi was in a more powered up state during that fight. He didn't go full huge buff mode, but he was pretty ripped at the time. I'd call it a semi-powered up state. 2) Goku's Kamehameha outputs more than double his base power level, and Roshi is far more experienced with the Kamehameha. Lowballing I'd round Roshi up to 150 when powered up, and if I apply Goku's Kamehameha modifier of about 2.25x, we get 337.5, though I am inclined to take the Daizenshuu's power level of a fighting-fit Roshi of 180 and say his mastery of the Kamehameha is more likely to give something closer to a 3x multiplier, which would give us 540. Moon destruction power is somewhere in that range. I did say though it's certainly LESS than 600; I was just highballing as much as I could justify for the sake of the argument, as I already said. If we take the lowball figure of 337.5, and apply this 10x converter, that's only 3375 power level in OPM numbers needed to destroy the moon, which proves my point EVEN MORE, so I don't really know what you're debating here. Kinda just proving my point.

Krillin would low - mid diff the S-class even in early to mid dbz. During that time he was already a planet buster, the S-class has power that range from to small country to small planetary. But with Blast included, he no diffs mid dbz Krillin. Also a regular bear in one punch man has around 900 points, while Piccolo, who had around the same power level number, can casually blow up a moon. That should be a better example of the differences in the two scouting devices. This was a fun video, lol. I liked it. Nice.👍

Your power level estimation btw both animes is quite wrong cause in Dragon Ball power level measure according to one's ki or life force, even scouters in dragon ball prioritise ki energy over strength. In dragon ball power level of 150 can be considered as complete moon destroyer( example king piccolo from dragon ball marital arts tournament ) and power level 1200 to multiple planatory destroyer (eample saibaman from dragon ball z). But in opm verse instead of some characters all scale under multi continental level even tastumski s rank 2.

At that point on time he was significantly stronger than on Namek against goku to a point where he could probably one shot himself. Meanwhile the fight between FF, Garou and Platinum S most definitely takes place at light speed+. Which should still be really fast even for mid-late Tournament of Power DB levels by that logic. Although it's hard to say as DB power levels and speed are inconsistent
