Your videos are so powerful. I wish someone would air them on TV. If I had money, I'd be moved to donate.

I believe we this is pure racism to believe Somalians are too stupid to solve the problem themselves. LET US DO NOT DONATE ANY MONAY SO SOMALIAN CAN SHOW THAT THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE AND CAN TACKLE THE PROBLEM: LET US NOT TREAT THEM AS BUNCH OF RETARDS.

Alexander Malinowski Somalia has a failing government that hardly has any presence at all outside of its capital. They are home to Al-Shabab, who in 2016 became the deadliest terrorist organization in Africa. Al-Shabab believes they have the God-given right to rule. The Somalian people have nothing to bargain with. They need foreign help, whether it is diplomatic assistance, military aid, or individual donations.

Who gave them that failed government? Who created Al Shabab for them? Who forced them to follow that ugly religion? Why dont they educate and increase their IQ?

Alexander Malinowski Google it. Their government's history is wild. Al-Shabab is the same as all other Islamic terrorist organizations, and Somalian people are almost exclusively Sunni Muslims. Sharia law is written into their constitution so you can't expect the government to treat its people with any decency. You might not understand that when you are in an Islamic country, you must stay a Muslim or you will be killed. Education will only get them so far as most science and philosophy and literature is forbidden.

This was so moving and inspirational. My flatmates and I are also really into trying to raise awareness for the lack of water shortage. we did a campaign about it in one of our videos and was so happy to have raised so much. :)

"Water does not resist. Water flows. When you plunge your hand into it, all you feel is a caress. Water is not a solid wall, it will not stop you. But water always goes where it wants to go, and nothing in the end can stand against it. Water is patient. Dripping water wears away a stone. Remember that, my child. Remember you are half water. If you can't go through an obstacle, go around it. Water does." ― Margaret Atwood, The Penelopiad

Hey unicef! If you want to help people in somalia get clean drinking water why not get them some solar powered dehumidifiers, they are cheap and with the humidity there you'd probably get 50 litres a day out of one.

Hi Martin Maybe your Somalian men would move your butt and solve the problem? Other countries are already civilised and yours is in hands guys with kalashnikovs and little brains. LET US DO NOT DONATE ANY MONAY SO SOMALIAN CAN SHOW THAT THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE AND CAN TACKLE THE PROBLEM: LET US NOT TREAT THEM AS BUNCH OF RETARDS:

I can't believe nobody in somalia has figured out to get solar powered dehumidifiers, they have 70% humidity you'd get 50 litres a day out of one. And they are cheap.

For decades the world has been providing aid, water etc. to these regions. They have become a dependent society with a "open your hand and the world will give" attitude. They've lost their self-respect. Rather invest in infrastructure and allow them to be self-sufficient: teach them how to fish instead of giving them fish.

Blame the corrupt governments of these countries, not the people. How can the people be at fault if they aren't even receiving proper knowledge on how to sustain a thriving community?

Here's an idea. move your hut 20 yards from the water. Then make a water purification system from gravel, sand burnt wood etc. Or for almost nothing a village could build a distillery system for water. And another good idea, stop pumping out kids you can't afford. I work 7 days a week and would love to have a little babby. But I can't afford to raise a child, so I don't. Can't feed them, don't breed them! These people don't need money, they need educating. And another thing, with all these adverts with sick and dying kids, why do their doctors all come to England?

Yeah funny, probably says the one who is banking a social security cheque each month and is queueing at the soup kitchen every now and then. Those people depending on social security are all retards and everyone working at a soup kitchen is racist.

Alexander Malinowski it's not about Somalians' intelligence, but resources. So we put forth our efforts to help, not only by resourcing them, but also raise awareness to the world.. and who knows, maybe we can help ourselves be less greedy and more thankful! Regards,

Here's an idea, uproot your hut and move to the water. No more walking. And to improvise a water purification system is simple.
