Very interesting that the soil is sand. Gary Matsuoka at Laguna Hills Nursery has been talking about sandy loam for years.

Thank you for an interesting and educational video. I plan to grow a Japanese sweet potato this year but I live in the Bay Area and it's cooler than the Central Valley, so I don't know how it will turn out.

Hi, I bought sweet potatoes in the supermarket and they are green inside, is it dangerous to eat. I know that they have no solanins like potatoes but coud be a concentration of pesticides, chemics or minerals ? Thank you and greetings from Buenos Aires.

If I live on a farm where the weather is beautiful in the day but if gets cold at night, that would mean I couldn't grow sweet potatoes because of the nippy weather at night?

It’s too bad most of the country doesn’t know this is the real California. All they know is Los Angeles and SF. We are farmland. We are agriculture. We grow for the world.
