Very interesting. Handy to know about the starting knot. I do a one piece restring so I don’t need this knot but it’s good to know.

Pulls the string more than specified tension before dropping back down. Eg 10% over. 32 lbs pulls to 35 first and then back to 32.

yes it is. this special pattern (and starting knot) on the last crosses are usually for high tension rackets which protects the main strings that usually break first. So basically you can call this an upgraded Yonex pattern 😉
