Personally I prefer to use one set of string. I agree with the pre-weave on the crosses. FYI 10.00 kilos = 22.05lbs and 11.0 kilos = 24.25lbs.

Question please... Why do you have to increase the tension by 10% on the cross strings?? I have gotten my rackets re strung many times in the past and i thought they all have to be of the same pressure both vertical and horizontal strings... Were we doing it wrong??
@Wukkopi
@Wukkopi 3 жыл бұрын
That 10% addition on crosses is to make up the increased tension on mains. As you start to go through crosses, mains are getting slightly tighter on each pull. That's the added stretch for mains that the weaving does. I hope this makes sense 😁
@alexandervoetsky219

Lorenzo, your doubt is absolutely justified. If any object on Earth that has the shape of an oval and has a mono structure is squeezed along a small "diameter" (in our case, it is more than kg to cross string), then the oval object will easily lose its shape. It will become squished. Whether it's rackets, or sitting over the toilet ... Carbon, plastic or adamantium :-) ... It is for this reason that all the top string manufacturers have started producing binary kits. This idea does not give any superiority in terms of improving the characteristics of a string bed. This is NONSENS. If you make 0.7 main and 0.66 cross - then this will give the property 0.68 at the "output". It's elementary! But it is important that thinner cross strings exert less pressure, as they have a higher stretch ratio. The shape of the rim and all the know-how put into it will be preserved and implemented. Happy New Year!

KZbin video shows in teaching pulling a racket string are all just besic, And sorry, I'm only giving input, I'm not a player, but if you pull the perfect racket strings, you have to know what we're going to do: 1. There are 2 types of rackets, in the past the rackets were iron (C-8, C-9, etc.), the frame was stable only up to 25 lbs, but the iron material was able to withstand a pull of up to 50 lbs and the body would not be deformed, but now the racket is carbon (original) the frame is able to stabilize between 30Lbs to 38Lbs (there is a racket thatrecommend up to 45 Lbs), however, the carbon material will be damaged if pulled above 30 Lbs, especially if you pull it the wrong way. so my conclusion, how to pull the 2 types of rackets there must be a difference in how to pull it. Pulling first from the center or from the side is not the problem. 2. Player complaints: play 1 to 2 sets of decreased pulling tightness (some don't get to the first 15 points). also the vertical string in the middle always shifts, and the string breaks quickly. That's what you need to pay attention to before you do this job. If you do it for 30-40 minutes, the job of pulling the strings is KODIAN's work. The above problem must have a solution, how to perfectly pull the badminton racket strings so that the player's performance does not change from playing to playing. IN MY EXPERIENCE IN 50 YEARS I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO OVERCOME ALL THESE PROBLEMS, IT REQUIRES PERSEVERANCE, PATIENCE AND SACRIFICE. pulling the racket from the center or side is the same Pulling the 2 knot racket is more accurate and stable. Pulling a 4 knot racket has risks, it can be unstable if it's pulled carelessly" and correctly. Manual machines are no different from digital machines if they are done well (like digital and manual scales, the weighing size of 1kg remains the same) The first thing to do before the strings are attached to the racket is that it must be safe between each hole through which the strings pass so that there is no hesitation in pulling the racket strings. and there is still a continuation of stages 2 to 3 to 4 so that the installation is perfect and does not injure the angle between each hole the string passes through, especially the vertical strings which often create hole defects in the racket if pulled incorrectly "This is only a solution not for business people looking for profit""""""

to ensure the different tensions in the main and cross strings I think the two piece string method is much better and therefore to prefer! though the knots and the stringing setup in the lower frame is much more beautiful with the one piece method
@pcstar123
@pcstar123 Жыл бұрын
@@christophergotz2222 You can still achieve different tensions for the main and cross with the one string method, each section of the string will still hold its specific tension as the friction around the bend in each grommet prevents that!

Question though..once you've locked the racket on its frame the shaft is then noticeably shaking if moved or touched. So as you're stringing it what happens if you accidentally touched the base of the shaft or the holder or the grip as you're moving/rotating the racket in 360 degree horizontally? Will that 'ruined' or in anyway affect the racket?

@jamesbrookes6116
@jamesbrookes6116 4 жыл бұрын
Both are acceptable, however Yonex and most other brands recommend the double stringing technique. I found my strings felt better (subjective I know) when using the 2 piece 4 knot technique shown here, also I found there to be less tension loss over time than with the single stringing technique. (This was tested with two identical rackets, strings and tensions over a period of a month, alternating rackets between games)

Hi SBApp. My experience is over 25 years. Stringing/carbon repair. I can make a badm.racket out of 20 or 30 pieces of string. 10-13kg. This is necessary when beginners or children are breaking the string every day (saving money). 1.You can scientifically explain why cross strings have more tension? 2. Your first tension step - 10kg for 2 main central strings... You are sure that both strings are gaining 10 kg. each? You know exactly the electrical scheme of the machine?
