The last one was legendary, dude calculates 20 moves in a blink of an eye and says, its a mate with one tempo!!!

Actually that one wasn't hard once you understand the theme. Calculating that far ahead with so few possible moves isn't hard.

Youngest person in history to hit 2800, I can't imagine where he would've been if he didn't take his hiatus last year for fashion modelling. For good reason, people thought he would dethrone magnus.

Main problem of Alireza is opening theory, if you play chess with him for sure he will take you down.

The third one looks really impressive for me. I might have found the fork of the rooks, but I would never be able to find the checkmate in a game. And he found it with one minute !

Puzzle 2: The solution that was presented to us is 1. Qg3+ Kc8 2. Qg4+ Qxg4 3. Ba7+ Kd7 4. Rd2+ Kc7 5. Rc1+ Qc4 6. Rxc4# but Qxg4 is a mistake, Black can simply play Kb8 instead and then 3. Rxe4 Rxe4 and White cant take the Rook otherwise 4. Qxe4 Rd1+ 5. Qe1 Rxe1# And why would Black even play Kc8 in the first place? He can play Ka8 (or even Qf4) and White responds with Qe3. But that's far from a solved position. So the real "solution" to this puzzle is something like 1. Qg3+ Ka8 2. Qe3 b5 3. Rcc1 Qxe3 4. Bxe3 bxa4 5. Rc6 f5 6. Rec1 Kb8 7.Rxa6

by being a little bit more patient, you are a nightmare for ALL HUMANBEINGS... These days, they can defeat you because you underestimate those grandmasters. You may offer a queen trade to Ian while you are 3 pieces down. You put them in a must win situation because if they can't win, they look silly

@ he is talented but he is enjoying the freedom he has never had in Iran...can follow his passion of fashion and enjoy life ... generally the world champions are "no-lifers" who dedicate their lives to chess. you need a level of obsession when it comes to these things, he could have already been the world champion if he did but since he is celebrated as one of the chess superstars and is not even close to winning candidates i don't think he would ever win.

@@rowanwild8445 winning one tournament? that won't do, i want him dedicated, training 20 hours a day and winning 10 world championships back to back. he has already let me down. waste of talent. send him to the salt mines!
