Gen IV isn't in the short-term plan as there's no way to read the game's RAM and display it on screen yet, but the developers of GameHook are working on it, so never say never!

Would be happy to watch either. I’ve always thought an under utilized run type are “duos” where you try to pair two Pokémon who may work well together to beat the game. A lot of little kids accidentally played the game that way in the beginning (if not just with their starter lol) As an example, Pokémon red and Blue with only Nidoking and Clefable. They’re not the same kind of Pokémon but both Moon stone evolutions with diverse move pools and well rounded stats. They’d demolish the game together.

I feel like HP Ghost would have been better than Bug considering it would have kept the Psychic coverage that HP Bug has, but it also gives you a good physical way to KO Ghost types easier. And I absolutely would love to see solo runs in other regions and team runs. Both sound awesome!

HP Ghost is definitely the right play with Machamp - I vastly underestimated the power of the Sp.Atk stat against Gengar! That's the fun of the run for me, though. Sometimes I get it right, other times I miss the mark!

Hey Squidgy I was quite impressed how close red fight was, but wasn't it for hidden power Espeon would've been very, very pesky! I would even say it could not be possible! But let me tell you what I think, Kanto gym leaders Pokemon are not really that high level. They're usually not a big challenge. Are you gonna roll it again in HeartGold or SoulSilver? Both Earthquake and Return are neutral against the Venusaur, and Return has a teeny bit more power behind it than Earthquake as our Machamp was at maximum friendship. We're talking a ~2% difference, but every little could help!

It normally wouldn't, but we used Foresight in order to hit Ghost-type Pokémon with Normal and Fighting moves!
