a nice ride. The setup and the overlays achieve a professional video. the fact that there is no music underscores this. really good

Thank you so much. Your commend made me smile and a bit proud of myself... but to be honest my balls where pretty small at that point as I was afraid of breaking 🤣🙈 but don't tell anyone 😜

Nice run. I too think the overlays are a nice touch and kind of wonder how you did them (are they gopro or Osmo Action options?). Perhaps a camera overview of the vehicle first so we know what we are watching (I only knew what the vehicle looked like later after watching another of your videos) and perhaps a chase vehicle with a chase FPV drone perspective. looks like the run was ~5-6 mins. The dji FPV which is perfect for chase shots up to 65MPH (~100 kmh) have a battery life for real world 15-25 mins... Just suggestions thanks. (HA HA sorry. I totally made this comment without realizing your are an fpv pilot. *forehead slap*)

Thanks for your comment. You're right the view of what vehicle you're about to see wasn't anywhere near my thoughts (well because I know which vehicle I'm in and totally forgot about it. I'll try to change that... I'm not a KZbin expert - yet - so I'm not sure I can change that in the vid. I'll do it on the Thumbnail for sure) I like your FPV thought and was thinking about it too. But I have no other pilot who could do the job 🙈. If you're here in Germany I would be thankful if you could do that. Would even come like 100 km around Munich to get that done 😁

94 kmh? That's pretty quick! I've had a normal bicycle up to about 75 kmh. Steep downhill with lots of pedaling. It was a crappy mountain bike too! I've also done close to 90 kmh on an Escooter. Those hit different. Being in a standing position at high speeds is way different from bikes!
@devasfpv2232
@devasfpv2232 Жыл бұрын
Just a quick question. How did you reduce the drag of your balls so you could reach 90kmh on an escooter? 😅😂 Seriously that would have killed me 🙈 respect
@Mustang7120

@devasfpv2232 A lot of times, they will tend to make themselves more aerodynamic (some orifices may or may not shrink to more aerodynamic proportions also.) If you leave them hang, you can use them as an anchor for emergency stops, but I don't recommend. 🎱⚓️🎱 This ride is an 11-minute car ride on Google maps.. speed limits range from 25 to 45 mph (40 to 72 kmh.)🛴⤵️ kzbin.info/www/bejne/lZTHZnScl7dgmK8&feature=share7 I usually post a 360 and flat screen version of some of my rides each week. It looks like a very good VM road. BTW My top speed with my DFXL is 106 km/h abut I will never repeat this at that particular road. IMHO the brakes are not good enough for this amout of speed.
@devasfpv2232
@devasfpv2232 Жыл бұрын
The road was just perfect so no worries about the speed. But you're right the breaks are not made for excessive speed. I once did 110 km/h but wasn't brave enough to even break. I had a wide runoff area so it was OK but I'm not keen on going so fast again. 90 km/h is just OK 🙂😀

What is the stopping distance in this vehicle going from 80km/hr to 0 km/hr?
@devasfpv2232
@devasfpv2232 Жыл бұрын
I can only guess because I never measured it. I'd say around 30 - 35 meters. My normal speeds are more around 50km/h and there I do a stop in under 20 meters.

@@devasfpv2232 I guess so. If I were to drive it and had to stop quickly I don't think the locked brakes & those narrow tyres could stop my 80kg body (plus weight of velomobile) anytime soon
@devasfpv2232
@devasfpv2232 Жыл бұрын
I have a system weight of around 135kg so your stopping distance should even be better than mine (you're lighter than me). As I daily commute with the velomobile I never had to do an emergency breaking cause I'm well aware of the traffic around me and trying to ride as defensive as possible. Think that's the key factor.

@@devasfpv2232 it was Geschriebenstein Austria, i'd say a standard mountain pass road maybe 7-8% at places (?), but i was wearing a one piece suit that's supposed to be quite aero, and it was 36-38 ˚C that day. good combination for max speed i'd say :). i didn't go for max speed intentionally, and it didn't even feel exceptionally fast, more serene if anything. only at home i checked the gps and i was amazed by the number also.

Nice machine. They're horribly slow climbers though, need electric assist for that... You'd easily break 80mph on a real downhill, but your Euro roads are very narrow, so not particularly safe.
