Hey Shaun, so I have recently been getting more into wakeboarding. But there is only problem, I do not have a wakeboard tower. I wondering if you could make video on how to do jumps on a low mounted rope.
@Shaun.Murray3 жыл бұрын
Good question Ryan. When tied high the rope doesn't necessarily pull you up but it doesn't pull you down. A rope tied low doesn't allow you to travel quite as high but is still manageable. Still the same techniques you see in my instructional edits but I'll considering showing what I'm talking about if we can fit it into our shoot schedule. Thanks again! And I see all you others giving the thumbs up so hopefully this helps you too.

Hi have a video of a mate wakeboarding at 78mph behind my ski race boat and is 260lb. He also wakeskated at 69mph and fell. Riding seriously is fun but we have the most fun trying new stupid random things like 4 up riders last one standing (knocking others off) riding wake skates. Love your videos great work.

Your insane man thats so fast. Me and my family just bought a boat and we think 20 mph is scary fast on a wake board. Great video keep them coming.

I've been up close to 50mph on a slalom ski behind my SeaDoo XP (its top speed), but only when the water was like glass. It was scary and exhilarating at the same time. I can't imagine what close to 70 has to feel like.

Have you ever done the “around the boat” trick on a wakeboard? I could’ve swore I was whipping at like 80mph BUT after seeing your video, I’m not sure I ever topped 60mph. Also, can totally relate to asking the wife how well she thinks I did ... 🤷♂️😭😃

I have done around the boats for years. For sure good times Brian! Slalom skis and wakeboards mostly. New towers don’t allow for that these days.

Hey Shaun, I’m new to your channel (I’m already loving it) and I’m also decently new to wakeboarding… I’ve been wakeboarding for about 3-4 years, and it’s kind of sad because I can’t clear the wake. I don’t know if that’s normal or not but I’m not getting enough speed and/ or pop

Ever gone that fast on a slalom? Last summer I did close to 50 on an old school hydroslide behind a PWC. Can’t imagine another 20 mph. Done 35ish on a wakeboard behind a boat. Plenty fast for this guy.
@robertkocher35343 жыл бұрын
Side slide that hydro at 35+ and catch an edge! It will set your memory back a week or so! From experience on a 25mph whip. May have exceeded 35, but I caught that edge I couldn't remember much for a little while. Just SMACK!

I actually have some experience with this. I was trying an “around the world” on a wakeskate and my brother juiced the throttle on the whip. The last thing I remember was the wake from the wakeskate turning into a thin single line of spray and thinking this is wayyy faster than I’ve ever barefooted. When I came too I thought the mad air from hitting the wake dead on at the end of the trick knocked me out. My first words were, “Did I hit it big!?!” My brother and girlfriend replied, “No, you didn’t hit shore but we were worried you would as you just kept skipping and tumbling.”
