Jimmy even mentions this in the vid, they would need some beefier pushrods, wishbones and maybe rockers for that. The suspension (especially in the rear) is pretty fragile on those things. The Ring's curbs and jumps would destroy a Praga in half a lap.

I don't know how much this will mean to you, but you sir, are a legitimate legend, going from sim racing against your subscribers and throwing the weirdest and most wonderful that gaming can provide around the Nürburgring, to rubbing shoulders and trading paint with some of the finest drivers in UK motorsports and to top it all off, you're reigning champion over them. A fairy-tale that many wish to materialize, me including. Not the most advanced sim in the world, but nice to see Raceroom getting some love. I’ve sometimes raced for an hour or two on the open servers. Great fun. Yep the game engine is getting old now but I can run it in 4K at maximum everything and it looks pretty cool. Always lots of nice little details which others don’t have. Not to mention some of the best engine soundtracks in sim racing. Looking forward to trying the Praga(s) when they are released. 😊

I agree, it dials in the sounds of the cars themselves, including the brake noise, tires, even the rattle of the car as it goes over bumps and curbs in a way unlike any other sim around currently. The game engine itself is indeed a little bit dated, but given its target audience is the same people who would be considering iRacing (which arguably has an even more dated engine)I’d consider it solid as well. It’s amazing how good it is while being a little bit unknown compared to the likes of other sims.

@@philipbarton3456 Yes it’s a very multilayered soundtrack isn’t it? Engine, gearbox, suspension noise, clunks, thunks, and squeaks! 😄 I always remember driving the free prototype on Raceroom Raceway. The reverb in the tunnel! 😁 Just loved it. So entertaining.

@@andrewharper4296 Exactly! Honestly from my personal experience with it, even with a basic Logitech wheel you can learn the limit of the cars quicker than other sims. The audio cues give you hints of what the car might do more so then other sims. Or at least in my personal opinion and experience.

I know there’s a certain stigma that comes with being an online gamer/streamer of it not being a “real career” in the eyes of society, but as many of us avid viewers of yours and many others sim racing content, I can personally say that I have a sense of pride having been a fan for many years, watching from the shed to the new house, being inspired to buy my own sim rig because of you and Steve (SuperGT), and watching the both of you achieve dreams you thought were unrealistic or unreachable. Maybe I can speak for many of us here (or not?), that we all have a sense of pride and are proud of you, Jimmer. I'm new to sim racing. had a wheel/pedals for 1 month. I've been round the nordschleife about 200 times lol. i know every bump and turn. but on assetto corsa the track i have is almost all flat. this version on race room looks way better with the constant altitude changes. nice video
