How Fast Can You Beat Pokemon Blue With Just A Bellsprout?

Playthrough Rules:
1. Only my selected pokemon in battle
2. No items in battle
3. No glitches or exploits (the badge boost and marowak skip permitted)
4. No Losing of ANY Kind (No Blackout Training)
5. No Double-Team TM before level 100*
Other Things to Know:
1. Pokeballs (HM Pokemon) are allowed in battle
2. I play the game at 4x game speed (238 frames per second)
3. My Pokemon have perfect DVs
4. Skipping the bike is not allowed
5. Saving between Elite 4 members is allowed
6. If the solo Pokemon faints and I choose to blackout it counts towards my reset counter and I still have to reset
Terms:
1. STAB
--- Same Type Attack Bonus - a 1.5x damage multiplier for using a move that shares it's type with the attacker
2. DVs
--- The Gen1 equivalent of IVs (individual values), these range from 0-15
3. Stat XP
--- The Gen1 equivalent of EVs. But unlike EVs, you can reach the limit with every stat

I actually really like the fact that you used the Gen 2 remix of the Gen 1 Gym Leader battle theme on Rival 3 seeing as this rival actually *is* fought to this tune as the final Gym Leader in Kanto in Gen 2.

That's just a coincidence, I have all the battle music as "Important Battle 1, 2, 3 ect", and "Normal Battle 1, 2, 3, ect". I have a folder of all gen 1 & 2 music for my videos. Not sure if i'll expand in the future. There's a lot of other people's music I really like too.

Koffing has a very mediocre move pool in gen 1 , but gets soybean,psywave and screech as egg moves. Could you do a run with a koffing with these eggmoves to see how much better it would do?

I always tried the evolution stones on new pokemon I've got. The annoying part was the moon stone. If you have fire stone, you try it on fire pokemon, leaf stone, you try it on grass pokemon etc. But how do you know what evolves using moon stone? Clefairy is the obvious one, because the game tells you about clefairies coming from the moon. But Nidorino/a? How was I supposed to know this? This always annoyed me as a kid.
