I once went to my usual fast food restaurant chain in Japan (Nakau): I ordered the item on the ticket machine and headed to the counter seat to hand the ticket over to the staff (literally 5 steps away) and before I even sat down and handed it over, the staff already gave me my order (a beef rice bowl) so it literally took seconds

Gent Leman well my return flight from Australia cost 750 AUD, Air bnb in the suburbs of Tokyo for 7 days was about 1000 AUD. I got most of my meals from 7/11 or Family Mart, most meals cost under 10 AUD. Hope that helps :)

There’s also a Murakame in Honolulu, Hawaii. My girlfriend and I fell in love with it and literally ate at Murakame every single day during our one week vacation in Honolulu. I definitely recommend the curry udon. 🤤

As per this episode I agree with your suggestions EXCEPT for the number 1... imho, CoCo is way better than GoGo, my friend and my son agree. We have have GoGo here in NYC and when I eat there I don't feel like I'm in Japan, although the taste is the same. Anyway, I guess it's about personal taste so congratulations on your suggestions! 7:14 Marukame Seimen is exactly similar to Marukame Udon in Waikiki Hawaii. down to the prices, value, menu, toppings, it looks like it's a same company. I love this place a lot and eat here frequently.

It is hard for a vegetarian because a lot of dishes have fish stock added. Okonomiyaki cabbage pancakes were my go to when eating out or sticking to Western food. There are some vegetarian restaurants. Indian restaurants in Japan often have vegetarian options. Just write down the word veg and draw a square with a green circle in it. This is the symbol in India so Indian staff will understand you.

As a former Marine that was stationed in Japan, I would love to see a video of CoCo's curry. I know you say that GoGo's is better, but you'll have a cult following of Marines like me that miss that curry.
