I've always thought that one can learn just as much from the one behind the camera as from the pilot's chatter. Abby, i laughed out loud in a vid when you gasped "what did you Dooo? Why did you DO THAT???" after a sudden crash. But I just LOVE how you chirp in a "good job" in support of Nate. Just like I do with my dog Blitzy when he eats his dry food! Be well guys :)

Absolutely awesome my cousin just got the habu ss 70mm edf he hasn’t even done the maiden on it yet can’t wait to see it fly in person after watching this video.
@snoriverrc38422 жыл бұрын
I have one, and figured it was 75-80 but it feels much faster because its tiny. Its just a super fun little jet, and using a 3S makes it really cheap to fly all day. The big brother, 70mm Habu SS does right on the edge of 100 with landing gear on, and gains about 10mph without it, I've put the GPS in it quite a few times. Lets see what you can do with the Viper 90! It is capable of 150+ in a dive, but you gotta be brave.

I'm expecting my very first plane to arrive TODAY! It's the WarBirds P51d. I'm literally waiting by the window so I can see exactly when it gets here. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas morning to open presents! Thanks to your videos and others I am also buying the 1.1m Aero Scout this weekend. There is one thing here on YT that I have been looking for that involves rc planes that I can't seem to find. I'm surprised that nobody has made a working missile! Not rockets, but missiles. I'm thinking that a super capacitor driving a small but powerful brushless motor could allow it to fly VERY fast but for only a short time. Also with the ability of cameras to now lock onto a face or object and track it could allow some basic tracking to be possible as well. No explosives obviously but it could still act as a kinetic impactor. Obviously I am looking for a more realistic dogfighting experience so I am already looking into some other things as well. But I want to thank you two for the great videos because they are what has gotten me interested in RC flying to begin with. On Friday I am looking forward to buying that Aero Scout through your site. Before I end this I have a question for everyone. What is the easiest FPV system that can work on the Aero Scout? Not the best, the easiest! I've never done this before so I want to start simple.

It would be a little faster without the drag of the gps on the wing of the jet. I would say between 74-78 mph. Just a guess.

Can you do this speed test with the Habu SS 70mm? On both 4s and 6s?
@Hoomi22 жыл бұрын
Surprisingly, I put the GPS data logger on my Dynam Waco, and it clocked about 65 MPH on a full speed pass (4S battery). I've put keychain cameras on many of my planes, and they don't seem to have much effect on the performance at all. You might have hit 75 MPH without the drag and weight of the data logger, though. I should put the GPS logger on the Cherokee, and see how it does on a 4S, full-throttle pass. It's too bad the UMX Mustang is too small to carry it. It'd be interesting to see the actual speed of that little plane.
@Hoomi22 жыл бұрын
EFlite Cherokee clocked 77.4 MPH on the GPS Logger.

I have this one. It not only clocks the maximum speed, it also records altitude, and you can download the data to the computer, where the plane's path will be shown on a map. The path can be traced, and it will display the speed and altitude at any given point during the flight. www.motionrc.com/products/skyrc-gps-speed-meter-sk-500024

is this a good step-up from the volantexrc warbirds as a first EDF/more advanced plane?
@TheRcSaylors Жыл бұрын
kzbin.info/www/bejne/eaWUi6VpmrabnZY Yes and no. The video linked above is what I’d honestly recommend as a first EDF. Larger and a little slower, the one in the video is actually a trainer! This 50mm version is a little more budget friendly, but smaller and faster. Still, it can be done! Just think the linked video is the more appropriate next step 👍💯 Hope I’ve been of some help! Please consider using our links when purchasing to help support us. Please let me know which route you go! 😎⚓️
