I grew up in a very Christian small town in the Midwest where no stores were open on Sundays. I loved it. It was peaceful on Sundays. No frenetic activity. It was a chance, as a community, to once a week collectively recall and honor that God's order for our lives is truly for our own good, it is that which restores and renews our souls and bodies. Most especially though, our focus and attention was on Him and what a Christian community's right relationship with him looks and feels like. It was very much our identity as a community. I miss that aspect very much where I live now. Anytime I hear a lawn being mowed on Sunday, it REALLY bothers me.🙁

yes, Germany has such laws, too. Now they are a little looser. Basically, the stores are closed except for necessary ones for travelers. The unions and the Church keep the blue laws there.

And the NT says that the lawless one, antichrist, will come only when the restrainer is taken out of the way, so clearly Satan does not have all the power that you grant him and is restrained by Jesus Christ Who is Lord of all. It makes perfect sense to say that Satan will be unbound at the end of time to do his worst. What do you think Scripture is talking about regarding the last days? That's why it says that if the Lord had not shortened those days no flesh would survive. If he was always unbound, then he would have had full power to utterly destroy the Church centuries ago, but he is not God. Every time you speak it seems to be with the purpose of denigrating Catholics and exalting yourself even while most of what you say is false or twisted in some way. You are taking "unbound" in the way that you want to take it - apparently meaning only that he is not bound in hell right now - which everyone knows - just so you can take something that is totally logical said by a visionary and make it sound false. Why do you do these things? It's like your whole spirituality is based on attacking Catholics for no reason. How is that healthy? How is that "salvation" for you? You come off as desperate to attack every little thing that is Catholic and it makes you look like a real loser.

Mr. Ferrara is a very smart man but I disagree on his assessment of Trump. I've heard the same anti-abortion rhetoric from "conservative" politicians for as long I've been alive. No one does anything about it and they don't intend to. Judge Kavanaugh, a Catholic, refused to even hear the case of Planned Parent Hood funding. A lot of people, myself included, have come to the conclusion that we're just being used. Conservatives are more interested in wars than they are doing anything about social problems.

Good Chris for pointing out 2029 as the 100 year point since the consecration request. It’s also good to note that in 1917, Our Lady requested daily recitation of the rosary and in 1925, she requested the “5 first Saturdays” devotion as penance. So 2025 is yet another key year to look at. However, given that Pope Benedict appears to very possibly be the “Holy Father” described at Fatima (and Francis the Bishop dressed in white), the “Prisoner Pope” of Good Success and the “Holy Father” of Anne Catherine Emmerich, how much longer do we really have before things happen?
