Emma ii "Finland destroying their countries"?
@robertm35616 жыл бұрын
Emma ii I agree a lot of what you claim here, but referring to original message: One has to adapt to a foreign culture, if one wants to integrate i.e. learn the language, work, study etc. follow the Finnish law(this is what i think "maassa maan tavalla" means). Helping the people in need is the right thing to do, but we better be realistic about it. Current amount about 60milj of refugees, is going to be soon hundreds of millions(referring to what i claimed in my earlier respond to you). Think we have lately had some quite reasonable initiatives and actions taken by our government concerning immigration.
@robertm35616 жыл бұрын
Emma ii Think there is some reasonable actions & initiatives taken/proposed by the government, like taking more refugees, but do the validation process in the camps. Also, as there Will be a Lot more refugees in not so far future, there ought to be some new approaches like an own state for refugees. This could be arranged for ex. by the UN. For reasonable compensation for ex. an island, islands, part of mainland etc. where people could start from the "basics" etc build infra and so on. Impossible for ex. for EU to take even close enough those, whom are in need with current "success ratio".

It is amazing to me that people choose to go to climates totally different than what they grew up with. If you are TRULY ESCAPING DANGEROUS LIVES, you happily go anywhere SAFE. But so many of these immigrants seem to come for economic reasons. One so-called Syrian refugee threatened to go back to Syria if Germany didn't give her a flat screen TV. My advice: feel free to leave! Back to the climate. Practically everyone has cell phones with internet access (even refugees!). USE IT TO RESEARCH THE PLACE YOU WANT TO MOVE TO! If you grew up in a desert, you might not like the extreme heat, but you are not going to like the total opposite. If you are used to sunshine all day long, you will not want half a year of darkness. Research and THINK before you move.

Everywhere in the world succesful immigration works like this (and I know this also first hand by living in australia as a european): you learn the language, learn about the culture and values of the country, you get to know and contact the population with an open and interested mind, get a job and adjust yourself to the country you are now living in. You live by the law and standards of that country, not the one you previously lived in. If you do, you will have no problems whatsoever. If instead, you choose to stick to the law and mindset of your former country, refuse to accept the new one, stick to degrading views of women and gays and consider ppl of other than your religion as below you and act accordingly, you will have and create many problems. You will only live a parasitic lifestyle, by gladly accepting the financial benefits and free healthcare and education, whilst on the other hand spitting on the values of democracy, seperation of state and religion and egality of all ppl. In other words, bite off the hand that feeds you. Then when ppl notice and take offence, call them racists or extremists. This behaviour will make you very unpopular and will never be acceptable for ppl who have their eyes open.

Although Finnish people are so in love with their social system, the fact is that people who have lived in countries with weaker social system, will find life in a country with strong social system as a disaster, when they experience it in flesh. Well , one good thing about this documentary is that it dispels the myth that all these asylum seekers are at risk of death if they return home ! If you really feared for your life , would you really complain about the Country that gives you asylum being too cold !!!!!!!!!!!!! ???? Seriously , would you not be grateful to live in a democracy where you are safe and can live in peace ?? There needs to be a sensible debate and discussion around asylum seekers , Europe cannot be expected to take all the responsibility, and many asylum seekers will have to realise that they cannot expect to be given asylum if they are in-fact economic migrants , simply wanting a better life ! This is different from genuine asylum..

Trust me I have seen the no go zones in France they don’t want anything to do with your ways. Ok, let's see... Finland is a VERY cold place, with an extremely difficult language and a completely different culture compared to the Middle East. Does anyone really believe fake refugees will try to make any type of adaptation? These are the same people who get the citizenship and at the same time are not able to name 3 typical songs of Finland. That is what pisses me off: knowing that millions of people out there carry a citizenship of a place they couldn't care less about.
@pastelmoon9118 Жыл бұрын
have seen many of them.. they speak their own language, dream of being lawyer etc but then refusing to study the language and keep complaining why he is in this situation... such a victim mentality!! poor baby!
@bertreynolds81468 жыл бұрын
I don't understand the logic in integrating these people here, why is that necessary and humane when much of the world and even their world lives differently and they are used to the culture, the language and can move forward more happily, why is it supposed to be a system that helps people essentially like a different culture, country and community that they don't feel connected to and others don't feel connected to them? and I say this as someone who is not a native Finn living in Finland. Living in another country is hard and of course someone should be given a chance and some support or they will have zero chance and not become a taxpayer, but no matter what country you try to live in it is difficult, it takes a lot more than money and a job to make someone happy, they would be much happier back home, the focus needs to be on ending the war, this whole EU refugee response to the war in Syria was a disaster that brought more people from Iraq and Africa than Syria itself and it's one mistake hope they don't try again or forget when the next war breaks out somewhere else in a poor country, and you can be damn sure if war breaks out in the west you won't be able to go to their countries to be taken care of.

This Finnish man is correct about integration is failing in the EU. He has made very good points. True society integration is when the newcomers leave their old traditions and customs behind. These immigrants from the Islamic world will never give up their traditions and customs for the sake of integration.

1st of all, immigrants leave (or should) their country to avoid war. Finns can't be blamed to don't want immigrants who doesn't want to become Finnish... or at least adapt to their country & culture. With the amount of Romani in Finland there's no point to debate about Finnish hospitality and will to help less fortune human being.

Like Merkel told "Multiculturalism has failed in Europe" They don't have any kind of immigration policies, they mostly left the loopholes incomplete pertaining to adaptating the outsiders to the finn society. Except for all those, they have a "fear of muslim subconsciously" (a topic of politic psychology ,please learn about the topic before commenting; it is very historical in essence) so that they will be apprehensive about putting their slack immigration policy into effect...
