How Flagmakers manufacture a Canadian national flag from scratch

So you cut the red cloth on the outside of the applique stitch line to show the maple leaf, but can you cut the white cloth (on the other side) on the inside of the applique stich line to show the maple leaf on the other side, or would that make the join between the two fabrics too weak?

what about the back side? wouldn't the maple leaf only show up on one side?

The red-white-red clothe were sandwiched sewn together, then trim both side of red to the maple shape.

WMBisme looks like woven polyester

if you think about it it's actually pretty easy to do this lady is just dangerous with the sewing machine tho

it looks like it would be pretty hard to injure yourself tbh, and worst case scenario is a lot of pain, blood, and a small scar as a reminder not like other trades where you can lose entire fingers, limbs, and eyesight
