I wish you everything beautiful, Jude, for working on this edition. It's scintillatingly enlightening. 1. The post Second World War era was about the worst times for any African political leader. 2. Facts like these as you've documented here is why many young Africans are nowadays walking away from Christianity and Islam. The aims and objectives of those religions are not any different from the aspirations of Western colonialists: Dominance. 3. And even after all, it's not going to be so easy to shake off this dominance for a very long time to come. The emotional, material and rational influence has been firmly rooted in a way that wresting Africans from the grip of external control would need to happen while Africans are not aware it's happening. "Give a man a new language and a new religion and you'll enslave him forever." That Chinese adage, once I learned about it at age 14, transformed everything about my person in my relationship with the rest of the world.

Way forward: 1. Know your History 2. Be proud of yourself 3. Be ready to die to take Charge of your economy 4. Military Development is a must! 5. Move a way from your comfort zone (AIDS) 6. Education ( let's stop drawing grasshopper please 😢) It pains me that a gigantic continent like Africa is being treated like a motherless child while the world survives from our pains. Niger Republic today does not have a steady electricity, let alone a nuclear reactor or bomb. The Corruption in Africa is alarming and it's getting worse on daily basis. I believe we are still suffering from mental slavery. Today, we celebrate getting a passport or ordinary visa from UK, USA or CANADA, this reinforces the weakness in our society. We all saw what happened in our last election (the elders are not ready to move ahead) and we complain about outsiders. There's a young group in Ghana (ACUP), gradually building up political awareness about taking Africa back. It got certified to be recognized as a political party few days ago. Let me stop here, it's lengthy already.

Thank you for another informative report on Africa. This reveals how African Francophone nations sell out their own nations for personal profit: otherwise, how can one entity instruct another to deposit 60% of the donour's GDP in the former's bank and at the same time convince the donour he's receiving grants and aids from the receiver? This is really mind blowing.

African "francophone" had never sold their countries. Brother don't make this mistake they are still fighting to end with this .. and they need the help of all african. De nombreux africains de ces pays sont morts pour l'indépendance et pour la fin de ce système, il faut pas confondre ceux qu'on a installé au pouvoir avec les populations qui continue à se battre pour terminer avec ce système colonial

Jude, you're still the best. This piece was wonderful and deserves a part 2. What is the way forward for francophone countries in Africa and indirectly, anglophone countries? All roads lead to African unity. The entire scheme was set up for exploitation by dividing us to fertilize the soil for conflict among African nations so they can "save us". Well done my brother 👍🏼

You tried in this story. I’m French. There are more stories to colonialism than basic analyses from you. Jude, I salute your attention to Africa's problem caused by the West. USA and Europe are working hand-in-hand to make sure AkribiLan will not be hijacked by China & Russia. Do you believe that all Francophone countries pull out from a single French Franc money? France will be poor and revolution will happen in France. Why does Macron suddenly become the best friend of Nigerian leaders? France's Govt is aware the only option left for them is for Nigeria to restrain the movement of the single currency in West Africa to avoid sabotaging their external profit interest dominance affairs agenda of economic growth in Francophone countries in West Africa. The only continent left for the World of today is “AKMILAN” AFRICA. Here’s why many countries rush to them because of resources to survive. iPhone came from DC Congo. The highest-profit & richest company in the world is APPLE product. Adhere to child slavery neighbour in Congo. Don’t let me go deeper; there are thousands of mystery stories to comment on concerning Colonial history in Africa. We will be freed someday or decide to exterminate us.

Europe and the US are one of the major problems of africa.Corruption is still prevalent in africa today because they created a safe haven for our ladies to keep siphoning funds. Did you see what the Us did in iraq, iran, pakistan, libya, Congo, Afghanistan and a lot of african countries? China and russia are doing more for africa than the US. The US and other european countries are fighting China and Russia for their selfish interest and not for the love of Africa!
