A video on how Czechoslovakia/Czech Republic kept overachieving until 2006. On top of that, how Portugal kept struggling to qualify until Euro 1996 and Spain's struggles between Euro 1964 and 2008. Belgium's lean spell between 86 WC and 14 WC, especially between 02 and 14 is worth a look.

How about Turkey's golden spell between 2002 WC and Euro 2008. As for Aime Jacquet's defensive football... interesting, proof fans always detest pragamatic football. Btw France beating Portugal at EU24 was their first away knockout win at the Euros since 2000 (2016 was at home). France's mini banter period between Euro 2008, 2010 WC and Euro 2012, where they only beat one team in tournament football: Ukraine. Ukraine's surprise run to 2006 WC quarters is worth a look when you consider what a stacked tournamemt it was. And England between 2006 WC and 2018 WC, where we didn't win a single knockout game for 12 years.

K, I’m aware that there are some people that Brazil could have won the 1998 World Cup if Ronaldo was healthy. But that is how life is. We all get nervous when it comes the big occasion and it does the better of us. Also this France side of 1998 is something that should take note of and appreciate. Like what the video said, it is truly amazing to see and look back of how they did it. With some/most (correct me if I’m wrong) French Players that had African Decent is truly spectacle to see. It doesn’t matter of where you are from and your decent. What matters is how can you contribute the team to push forward and achieve their goals.
