I notice on the video you did not add any sugar. It is definitely needed. I just made this cake. I made it for 9 inch pan. It was absolutely incredible!!! I used one large orange, and about four tangerines. I boiled them just as he did in the video and I put it in a blender to break it up. I added the almond flour, sugar, baking powder, eggs, almond extract, and vanilla extract. The cake came out like a mix between a custard and a dense cake. I took a slice when it was still warm and it was an experience. The orange flavor is very forward and it’s so satisfying. The mouth feel is delicate and creamy. This one is definitely a keeper, but you sure have to add sugar and vanilla or almond extract or both. Thank you chef Julien!! I have made several of your recipes and they all are exceptional!!!
