When I googled this exact question I was expecting someone to just show the fuel injector itself and vaguely talk about it and not show what I was interested in which is _where_ the fuel is injected into the engine. I am quite fortunate to have found such an in-depth video that showed me everything I wanted to know and even some that I didn't know I wanted to know like the inside of the injectors. This combined with some good humor made for a very good video. RIP your brother lol

Oğuzhan Yılmazer. That goes to show how complicated an engine is. That's the same speed the pistons are moving times two for any four stroke engine. Yet an engine can go for 400,000 miles and more before any major repairs. Amazing!

it finally makes sense... best explanation i've seen of how exactly the injector works. most of the other things i read just said "it atomizes the fuel" but i could never find exactly how the fuel is shut on and off. the solenoid with a fail-close port is a genius way of doing it

10 thumbs up to this video. clear, to the point, with demonstrations and awesome diagrams i'm amazed how many "professional" youtubers post videos with only a shot of someone talking who can't clearly describe what they are talking about, sometimes no diagrams or piss poor diagrams usually on a whiteboard, and often no actual video of the parts they are talking about. at first my complaint was that you were going too fast, but in reality this was the perfect speed and i'd much rather have this video than 20-30 minute slow video

I had always been under the impressesion that the injector itself created pressure to spray the fuel , but apparently the injector basically opens and closes the orifice to allow the fuel to exit under the pressure delivered by the fuel pump. so actually the injectors don't have to work as hard as i had originally thought. thanks. great video.

My 88 Plymouth Voyager (Canadian Built!) is a throttle body injection. Does that mean that the injector is continuously flowing and that the computer only varies the amount of fuel being sprayed? I don't imagine it's being pulsed on and off when located in the TB.
