I hope we get to see more of this type of content! It was very toriyama esque to have King Cold just blatantly say that not even Frieza know of his forms. Was curious from the getgo as to how that would be made since it is somewhat an original design. Also with Goku that didn't fought with his Yardrat outfit at all. The dokkan sprites really helped out. I've been doing some What-If scenarios for years now and could help out in the editing room in case the next episode comes about.

The Animation style is inconsistent with mecha frieza been miscolored with transitions felling off and the affects didn't look good, goku's voice actor was too loud and annoying, and that red me paint line of goku's face comes off as if it was done by a bad recolor artist, this overall was such a disappointly bad ep 1 with issues plaguing it from start to finish and the fans have to give a penny out of pocket just to see things get better i mean heck there's fan projects out there that has done objectively a better job on there first time the whole it's a test thing is a poor cop out on why this video was uploaded in the state it is in

I had wanted to see this come to fruition ever since I heard you talk about it going back to 2-3 months ago. Having watched the full episode, I can tell you that it certainly did not disappoint. Hearing Stephanie Nadolny voice Gohan again was great, but what really got me geeking out was when the English dub of the Toonami commercial started playing. Having grown up with the original Funimation English dub of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z on Cartoon Network in the early 2000s. I felt like I was 13-14 years old again. The person you had voicing TOM was as close to Steve Blum, as you could possibly get. The attention to detail for the upcoming shows within the commercial was in a word, perfect. As a longtime subscriber of your channel, this, along with your daily content is worth a subscription. I hope you and the awesome crew you worked with to produce this will continue the series if enough funds are made. Two things really stood out with this from a storytelling POV a) There was an actual story here. It didn't cheap out by just having Goku show up and quickly deliver a curbstomp to both of them. I think a lot of people presume that's what might've happened in canon, but that would've been boring to see. Not to say that this episode embellished anything at all. This episode is a legitimate extrapolation from the canon. As someone who has read/written fanfiction I infinitely prefer this approach to stories where more liberties are taken with the canon. b) It had a healthy mix of respecting the original Japanese version of the series but imbibing elements of the original English dub too. Not to the point where it deviates from the original series characterisations, but its stuff like Gamer Goku's performance emulating not just Sean Schemmel but specifically how Schemmel sounded circa the original dub, not how he sounds now. Ditto with how the narration and commercials were presented. It was a organic way of bringing together those who go by the Japanese version and those who grew up with the dub and hold that close to their hearts.
