G2's perfection of autonomy of quickly pushing lanes, applying pressure, prepping vision around objectives, and setting up ganks is why they mess around so much late game with a huge gold, objective, and kill lead.

Why is Treatz staying in lane instead of recalling at 3:30 ? In my elo Leona would have gone bot after recalling immediatly and getting advantage of botlane/kill my adc... There is no wave management to do the lane is frozen and the xp gain is ludicrous.

anyone knows why the playoffs structure is so strange? the thing I'm mostly confused about is why schalke has to play 1 match more than rogue, even though they started in the winners bracket just as rogue? if G2 would've lost, would they face fanatic or rogue would face fanatic? (in other words in this specific example is the loser bracket placement dependant on which place the team finished in the regular season)
@xventex98223 жыл бұрын
seems like you haven't watched the format video yet but i can shortly explain: the two loosers in the upper bracket will be matched into the lower rbacket games by their regular split seeding. S04 ended on 4th spot whilst RGE finished 2nd. so the lower seed has to play one more game in the lower bracket. if G2 would have lost it would have been RGE first and then G2. Does this help You?
@KittenCritters3 жыл бұрын
S04 has worse seeding than Rogue and is therefore lower in the bracket

@bowiesexy3 жыл бұрын
The gist of it is that the top 4 teams from the regular season have 2 "lives"
@sockknight39273 жыл бұрын
I can explain. We first have to look at the regular season, G2 was first seed and Rogue was second, third and forth place doesn't matter, 5th and 6th place instantly go to "Loser's bracket" (SK vs FNC, FNC won and SK are with 1 lose eliminated from playoffs, meaning they get no second chance, it's indicated by the white line at 5:19 between SK/FNC and the teams above.) 1st seed has the benefit of being able to "choose" their enemy from the third or fourth place (Schalke and Mad), they chose Schalke, meaning Rogue is matched against the remaining team MAD. Every team that loses is sent to " Loser's Bracket", so in theory every team has 1 free lose in a Best of 5, except for FNC and SK that have been in Loser's bracket from the very beginning. Since Schalke lost against G2 and Rogue lost against MAD, both of them are sent to Loser's. Now, you may ask why Rogue is further "ahead" than Schalke despite Schalke being "further up" against G2 in the first match. At 5:19 you can see Schalke was sent to Match 4 and Rogue was sent to Match 6. That's because Rogue was 2nd in Regular season and Schalke was below them in the placings. Assuming G2 would've lost, Rogue would've been sent to Match 4 and G2 would end up in Match 6 because their "seeding" was better. From here it's only a matter of losing/winning. FNC now have to play Schalke (Match 4), the winner of that match has to play against Rogue in Match 6. The winner of Rogue VS Schalke/FNC (Match 6) has to play against the loser of G2/MAD (Match 5). The winner of G2/MAD is sent to the finals of playoffs, the loser is sent to semifinals (That's why the semi-finals are technically in "Loser's bracket", because either MAD or G2 have to lose to end up there.) The only thing I hate in this format is that assuming a team wins everything and ends up in the finals, then loses, they are eliminated. They can't allow themselves to have a free lose basically. That's what happened to FNC in summer 2020, they won their first 2 best of 5's (one of which was against G2), went to finals, then lost against G2 in a bo5 (because G2 was sent to Loser's bracket, but went on to win every single bo5 from there, including semi-finals.)

Killing tanks first I think in teamfights
@loljuttui59163 жыл бұрын
Fighting front to back means that your team's frontline should focus on peeling for your team's backline - often it means everyone on your team focuses the enemy team frontline. Usually you want to make the fight a front to back fight if your carries have higher range or dps than enemy team's carries. Another way to fight would be flanking or assassinating enemy team's carries and ignoring their frontline - doing that means the enemy team's frontline can go on your backline. You want to try this if you have better assassins or you will win the fight after both team's carries are dead.
