And I say that as an European following US politics for a long time, it was also part of my University Degree, so I've been watching US politics for 23 years now, since my Uni years. Has he ever listened to Trump supporters and their rhetoric? With all due respect, MAGA people live in their own worlds and many if not majority are not willing to even listen to reason and arguments. It's sad to watch, because Americans like to talk about their country as the greatest in the world, an example of democracy, but it's just not. And to people around the world, since you elected Donald Trump as your president in 2016, you have truly become a joke to the world. I am a Christian, but I could never get behind a man such as Donald Trump and the "values" he and his representatives represent. The old and respective Republican party gradually disappeared and Donald Trump turned it into an aggressive, vulgar, immoral and violent movement. Now in 2024 Biden just called half of country voters as garbage, there were no democratic primaries and Harris was placed as result of a coup in Democratic Party - in other words - no competition . Republicans did have a primary, and Trump had to compete for the vote. Does that help to understand Americans? It’s a battle of peoples vote vs oligarch placed politician masked as peoples choice through oligarchy owned media… despite Trump public behavior is repugnant, to many, the exercise here is to see if vote actually counts, or oligarchs install a puppet they want and elections are simply a theater of going through the motions of election without truly having one.

How do you have the American Dream without mandatory accounting in the schools? Adam Smith wrote "read, write and ACCOUNT" multiple times. He used the word 'education' Eighty Times. So when/where have economists with PhDs, either Democratic or Republican been advocating mandatory accounting in the schools?

The young are always radical, but as they grow older they tend to get more conservative. At 16 it's "yeah, let everyone in, give everyone welfare, take from the rich, everyone should be equal" but when they go to work, have a family etc it's more "why should I give my hard earned money to people who are doing nothing for the country, not contributing to anything" From the UK and I have never (65 years old) seen such division in a American election or in general. I wish you all well, whoever you vote for, you still are all Americans.

I am black. Your comments of Charlie Kirk are wrong and taken out of context. I have listened to Charlie much more than you have and he is not a racist. That's the problem with media these days, you have become ideological in how you observe society and that filters in your analysis of issues. You will parade anyone who you disagree with and paint him as an absolute worst person. He is not a racist. I am certain Charlie was referring to affirmative action and DEI, when someone gets a job because they are a DEI hire, what any rational thinking person, including myself as a black person, is, are they qualified? Anyway, polarization is largely driven by media, most of the issues that are hotly contested on cultural issues are mostly private issues that are being thrust into the public space by media. Why would my views on gays and lesbians be important to public office?

Hey I have questions for everyone how come in political landscape no one is addressing the elephants in the room and that is why politics keep making false promises and not focusing on key issues like restructured the United States Constitution which is 240 years old outdated, also why don't politicians be replaced with experts that have deeper knowledge about key issues and addressing sustainable future. Most politics need to be retired each generation is going have solutions but create new problems for next generation to solve by leaving the world in a much better way than it was found. Politics isn't the way to go because of oligarchs keep trying get us divided. Not to mention that democracy is just bad as oligarchs because democracy creates more politzartion and slow at achievements when it comes to passing laws based on Evidence based decisions and still evidence based decisions are still being manipulated by people personal beliefs and culture but politicians refuse to get different perspectives that they can't like why are politicians getting richer but middle class is entering more into poverty?
@cultytalk27 күн бұрын
Political decisions are most manipulated by Corporations, actually. And that answers your last question about why the rich get richer & poor get poorer. Also - because it was DESIGNED THAT WAY. The Constitution isn't what you think it is. It protects CORPORATIONS. That's the "PEOPLE" it protects because they changed the definition of what a PERSON is legally.

Because he didn’t expect to win, and he was surrounded by normal patriots that took seriously their oath to the constitution. This time around he will be surrounded by sycophants that will allow him to use the constitution like toilet paper.
