Debt debt and more debt. It’s awful. Millennials have student loan debt, healthcare debt, consumer debt, etc etc. traveling with debt on top of all of that is nuts.

Not exactly. If they're using interest free debt then it's a good idea. The alternative is to save up and miss the trip with your friends and ultimately not go. That's not good for your mental well-being and life experience. I don't see any advantage to it. More like if you have tons of cashflow you're privileged.

Well this is depressing... Sacrificing their future to support an economy that couldn't care less about them. At least they'll have a cool experience and memories.

It’s not like they’re doing this for the good of the economy. It has nothing to do with the economy for them, other than helping sink it when they’re behind on credit payments as interest accrues exponentially. And then making money can be harder at that point, especially if your car has just been repossessed. I bet none of those fools own sheit
@AmyMcLean

@@johns.palumbo5104 my comment was poorly worded. They aren't doing it for the economy, but that's the result of their actions. They are propping up the economy and helping to keep things expensive. They'll never be able to afford these trips later, and neither will the rest of us, especially without taking on crippling debt.

I highly recommend setting a budget for annual trips. If you want to take a trip in yr that cost 4k than divide that number by the amount of checks you get a year. I'd you can't afford to do that than you can't afford to travel.

But that follows like common sense and sound judgement. Who do you think these people are? Aint none of them got time for common sense or judgement. Or in their words, “their common sense ain’t sensing.” I know it sounds dumb, that’s the point.
