some corrections and additional information: it's 11 league titles in a row now UEFA is pronounced U-EY-FA, Toni Kroos is pronounced Kr-oh-s, Lewandowski is pronounced Levandovski (minor pronounciation stuff i dont mind tbh considering I dont think you really follow football, this is just so you know) Barcelona wasnt forced to sell Neymar because of their debts, Neymar wanted to leave and at the time it was and maybe still is the biggest transfer deal of all time (220 million euros, which one could argue they reinvested very poorly) Messi however left because his contract ran out and Barcelona couldnt afford to re-sign him. he wouldve accepted a large pay cut as well but Barca couldnt make it work. even now they have trouble with registering players because of their financial situation. 7:57 "they have also been meticulous about not hanging on to their players for too long" Lewandowski was sold because he really REALLY wanted out, if he had wanted to stay there was no way we would have let him go. the man scored 50 goals his last season at bayern nobody in their right mind would let him go just to make a transfer profit. But your point is not incorrect as Bayern has a policy (exception made for Harry Kane) to not give players over 30 contracts longer than a year. Regarding Toni Kroos and David Alaba, those two players leaving has generally been considered a failure of management to hold on to them for Bayern fans and proven right with them continuing to be exceptional at Real Madrid. Something interesting you could have spoken about considering Bayerns financial situation was how they paid off their loan to build their own stadium 16 years ahead of schedule. Not losing money in the transfer market is not exactly a priority for Bayern, they are very willing to spend big, as seen with last transfer windows Harry Kane deal. Their priority is to win. When you win the league for 11 seasons in a row the pressure to keep it up is immense. Bayern has been now unbeaten in 38 (?) group stage matches in a row in the champions league, any stumble is considered a crisis. Anyways there's clubs whose whole business models revolve around turning great profits on their transfer deals (ajax, benfica) but Bayern is not one of them. In my opinion Bayern will definitely be able to keep up with international football. EPL fans often clown Bayern for dominating the Bundesliga but they still dont want to play against Bayern in the Champions League (I stole this one from another commenter on a football iconic video). The thing that makes them work is while they do have very good players they also play as a very efficient team and they take every match extremely seriously. That is how they compete with Barca, Real, PSG etc on the international stage. In football the money involved is getting crazier every day but there is a reason why players *choose* to play for Bayern or Barcelona or other top clubs with rich tradition, and therefore choose to earn less money than they could earn elsewhere. For example Bayern internationally has the biggest fan following out of every football club in the world. In the German speaking regions they are the club young players want to play for growing up. And that is not going to change any time soon. Considering you titled the video "How Germany Created a €3.8 Billion Football Empire" I expected to hear more about the Bundesliga and DFB (and their money troubles) rather than all the comparisons to the EPL and Saudi Pro League. You really only spoke about one single german club. Bayerns sponsor deals with their "triple A" sponsors (adidas, audi, allianz) is definitely the biggest thing contributing to their financial stability and you got that completely right. Other videos that could give you better context on Bayern and the football money bubble in general are: Bayern Munich: Why does the Bundesliga look so easy to them? (highly recommend as this explains their financial situation quite well) The Insanity of the football transfer market cheers and servus from bavaria✌

8:47 here you make an amateur mistake by only talking about transfer fees on the balance sheet. In reality the transfer fee is only one factor in signing a player and often doesnt reflect his talent. It's like a product that can at times be sold for way more than it's current worth and also can be a free agent. What really matters are the players salaries which are really weighing down the pockets of the big Prem clubs. ManU is the most revenue generating football in the world, but wages for players like Ronaldo mean they have to struggle to break even. Oh and on a sidenote, Bayern is basically monopolizing on the whole of Bundesliga. While their business is thriving it's clearly at the cost of all their competitors. there're always to side to the coin. keep up the good work, cheers.

This is obviously the most bull**** video about FC Bayern on KZbin. First of all, they sign any good player from the rest of the Bundesliga just to prevent other teams from rising up. Their transfer balance is far from being their cash cow. Their cash cow is the art of the backdoor deal. Either with a player directly or with a TV station or when using their influence on the German national team.
