"Ghostface catch the blast of a hype verse My Glock burst, leave in a hearse, I did worse I come rough, tough like an elephant tusk Your head rush, fly like Egyptian musk" This man didn't just set off a hot song or an album. He set off an entire era of classic music with his opening verse on Bring da Ruckus and I don't think anybody could have done it better. He's got a fantastic catalogue; Ironman, Supreme Clientele, Fishscale, Apollo Kids, 36 Seasons, Sour Soul, Twelve Reasons to Die and Twelve Reasons to Die 2 are my favourites. He was even a big part of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. Unconventional internal rhyming technique, vivid imagery, a unique uptempo flow and an emotive Stream of Consciousness delivery. He's also one of the finest storytellers in Hip Hop. An emcee and lyricist by definition, a hard working perfectionist. He's also evolved creatively and lyrically throughout his career. Not only is he my favourite rapper from the Wu Tang Clan, he's also one of my favourite rappers of all time. I ended up typing an essay but I don't care. I was looking forward to this video ever since you started making videos on the Wu Tang Clan and it's finally here. Thanks a lot! I highly appreciate your work.

His pen game best out of the Wu, he fathered alot of styles including Action Bronson and Westside Gunn. Ghost best that ever do it, done it and did it....

trife diesel might have wrote some rhymes for him here and there
@percival68153 жыл бұрын
@@dassolosyndikat5113 I've heard that as well and I highly doubt it. Ghostface's approach to his lyrics and flow throughout his career differs a lot from Trife's. They've made a whole album together and even though they have a lot of chemistry when they get on a song they have their own distinct styles. After comparing their styles I don't think Trife has written anything for Ghostface. Plus I haven't come across any substantial proof of that anywhere either.
@tobyrothenborg61643 жыл бұрын
I don’t know about these particular claims. But an interviewer was with him in the studio and they talked about how everyone in his crew chimed in to create verses. For example Ghost would ask what rhymes with Boogie, or what wild make sense after this, or if I say niggas are crazy like a dagestani, and then ask someone to confirm that Dagestan is a crazy place.
@TheWuCepticon19813 жыл бұрын
Lord Superv said he wrote Supreme Clientele for Ghostface 😆. If that's the case, then why would he write basic and average verses for himself? And give all the fire lyrics and verses to Ghost. Superv wasn't capable of writing on the level of creativity or complexity of Tony Stark's mind.

The dopest thing about the Wu is that these were M.C.'s who's versus were noting but praise towards the other members of the Clan. They were each the pinnacle of their own respective lane but did nothing but talk about how the man next to them was the goat. How many versus do you recall hearing from any Wu M.C. that didn't pay homage to RZA is some kind of way? Or Power, or Devine, etc.... I'm 45 and know grown men right now to this day my age who have the Wu symbol tatted on their bodies somewhere. They were no different to us then Marvel Studios. Real life walking and talking super hero's. We'll never again see anything like Wu-Tang

Your cadence on this clip sounds like getting you to narrate was equivalent to pulling teeth. You already have one aspect working against you where you're accent doesn't match up with the subject matter. I personally can look past such stereotypical aspects but the average Joe into this scene would automatically be turned off to it, especially with your obviously-reading-and-apparently-reluctant delivery. I recall hearing your voice on another such video where people in the comments called out some erroneous claims, I only listened through this because KZbin's algorithm picked it for me and I like Ghost. If this is a gig that you stand behind with your name in an industry you want to excel in, do better. No hate, I don't know who you are or have a reason to be negative other than what was put before me, just real talk from an alert and critical observer.
