The RMS Queen Mary launched on September 26th, 1934 is one of the only ocean liners that still survives today, permanently moored in Long Beach, California after her retirement in 1967. Now a floating museum and hotel, the historic ocean liner has faced financial difficulties almost from the day she docked at her new home. Her operators have leaned hard into promoting her supposedly paranormal past to attract guests. But did exploiting her dark history doom her chances of offering a sustainable hotel and restaurant business?
