How God Helps Me Forgive Myself

Everytime I read the gospel I feel guilty to the point of wanting to run away from God in shame. This is how God has counselled me into His forgiveness through Jesus Christ, thus also helping me forgive myself.

Guys I just want to say a quick testimony. I was praying this morning crying to God. And I said “God I don’t want you to remove my anxiety” (been having anxiety and anxiety attacks lately bc of my wrong choices 😢😔) I said “God please just fix my heart I don’t want a temporary fix God I want you to touch my heart” and I was praying and praying I said if ur listening please please pleas God send something. I received a notification that this video was posted. I have not forgave myself. I have been cruel to myself, neglected myself, and just hated myself for it. I pray my heart becomes so gentle and loving like Jesus not only to my neighbor but towards myself also. 😔

Ik how you feel I’ve been there and oh the Holy Spirit held me the whole way he was never angry w/ me and always gentle. He heard you. Surrender to him. Bc u want ur heart like his that means it’s always becoming like his bc h want what he wants. Just worship and thank him he already forgave when u repentance now let it go. Ik it’s hard especially bc I struggled w/ ocd. He doesn’t hate u n u we’re created in his image so y should we hate ourselves when our maker doesn’t even hate us?

I felt somehow (God as well may have put that in my heart) that my biggest problem was pride 😢 we tend to associate pride with thinking we are better than others, show off and other stuff.. and since I was the opposite, I didn't understood at first that thinking that I'm lower and all the toughts, actions and fear that come from that are also pride. This was the last thing I needed to understand about were my pride was also interfering. Is been already long enought since the last time I prayed.. no more self condemnation.. no more accepting the condemnation of others either.. This video is what I need today. I was trying to understand salvation and asking God to help me understand salvation. All I needed to do after I prayed was hope and wait on the Lord to help me with my situation of confusion. This video gives me clarity and encouragement. Hi Vihan. I need help😢. My mother keeps tormenting me mentally almost everday. I just feel it's better to be dead than this daily torture. Everytime she exaggerates situations and blames me unnecessarily. My father trusts her and shouts at me. No one corrects her. Does God not see this torment I am going through? She's always praying and reading bible and goes on fasting as well. I don't know how in spite of being spiritual she continously torments me. She reads bible almost all day but still does everything opposite to what the bible says. At times, I just pray that God killl me and put an end to this torture. I don't know why God won't do anything about this whole situation. Does she get a license to do whatever she wants just because she is a mother. Does God care about my hurt. I don't understand how to deal with it anymore.

Check out this passage and apply it word for word if you haven’t already, it’s such a blessing - “Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:6-7

If Jesus paid the penalty, then how can we say God forgave our sins? When penalty is fully paid there is nothing left to forgive.

Fine is paid but people haven’t accepted the gift so it doesn’t apply unless they do. The Bible says to repent and believe and then only we are saved, not by anything we did because neither repentance nor belief does anything to earn salvation, only Jesus’ death for us can earn it. But if we don’t receive a gift from someone we don’t partake of its blessing till we take it and open it.

For I have the authority to lay it down when I want to and also to take it up again. For this is what my Father has commanded." John 10:18 Jesus was with God in the beginning of creation, and is God. He is the Word of God that became flesh. Read John 1:1-14

God didn't pay for our sins in the sense of our bad behaviors going out totally. That's not true. He paid for our sins in the sense that when we are going to be judged in the judgement day, instead by being judged by a bunch of laws, we will be judged by Jesus and HIS STANDARDS GIVEN. That's why christains no matter how they give their so called life to Jesus, they still continue in their sins or more so go back to it and continue sinning, because what you think it is isn't actually what it is.
