I wonder why he didn’t consider the Big Island of Hawaii? Back then acreage in rural east Hawaii was very inexpensive with some acres costing less than 10k or some with homes for less than 100k. Even now there are lots that are one to three acres for less than 70k; some one acre lots are even as low as 20k or less in the safer lava zones. Kauai is probably the most expensive Island but even now I just looked up properties and all one million dollar properties have amazing homes on them. I am wondering if he tried to really look hard. Hmmm.

God, who is my Sheppard, bless our family to not be in want for a home in the country with all the needed resources for survival and sustainable living preparedness or the ability to handle it by the leading of the Holy Spirits safely and productively with the right motives for the gospel of Jesus Christ without any regrets, despite our age or gender, with the ability to handle it, near likeminded Godly people that we know. Lord let it not be true that we will have to stay in the city in the home if it is true that Sister White advised that we get out of the city and stay out.
