Thanks, Pastor! We used to live in the city until one day our Lord moved us to a small country town. All who trust and obey, Jesus will show the way to come out of cities. He did it for us; and I’m a single parent, He will do it for you, too!

Is it a physical building or is it people who delight in being obedient to every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God? If you understand that every one must give an account, independent, of any one else, then ask your God whom you’re intimately aquatinted with what is His will for you; and how to achieve it. its amazing how much Pastor Doug Batchelor knows and how many different things he can do. I am not handy at all so I would not be able to set up pipes or water flow or build a house, install a stove, mount or install solar panels and have a circuit box placed in a house or run telephone lines. The best I could do is live in a tent and shower from a bucket with a flashlight and a camp fire. Im not good at gardening. We had a few plants and each one of them died and we don't know why. It seems like there is a lot you need to know in order to live in the country successfully. I am already 47 years old and I don't think I could learn all of that in time before I am too old to do any of that. It also seems like all of the equipment that he used cost a huge amount of money which I also do not have. It just seems a bit overwhelming. I grew up in a small town in Germany (a farmer's town) where my grandmother and grandfather grew plums, pears, apples, potatoes, asparagus, cherries, and peaches. I remember as a child I had to help pick all these things. I live in Houston but I do want to go back to a rural setting however that is not currently possible. I guess living off the grid is great when we no longer will be able to buy or sell. I guess I will be doomed when it is time to run.

A lot of stuff pastor spoke of costs money , heavy equipment etc. All things I don't have abd can't afford. Grew up on a farm in Indiana. I was5 through 8 years. Just thought it all made it's self. We had it all and wish I was back there today. We ate off the land. We had a barn and cows gave us milk ,cream and butter along with chickens fruit basically grapes, hickory and walnut trees and grew a garden filled with vegetables which were canned by winter time. Also had corn to sit in a corn crib and shuck corn for hours. That fed the animals. We also had an out house! One pot belly stove to heat downstairs of house. Beds were covered with hand made feed sack that we also bought for livestock. Hand made Quilts and feather beds kept us warm at night. No need for heat upstairs. We ate chickens and had eggs every day. Some chickens were fryers some sitters. No toys but we found ways to amuse ourselves. Oh for those good Ole days. Thanks pastor Doug for my walk back to the farm outside Versailles Indiana. I'm in my 70s and loved the country living. Wish we all could have that simple life again before Jesus comes to take his children home. HAPPY SABBATH TO ALL!

The grafting part blew my mind! 🤯💥 1) Romans 11:22-24: (Wild branch) "Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, [a]goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. 23 And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24 For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?" 2) John 15:1-3(I am the true vine): “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He [a]takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you."

Amazing facts in deed. I'm heading to the country side from Nairobi Kenya. There's more sin in the cities than in the country side.

I used to live in the country when I was growing but moved to the city when our oldest daughter was 5 years old to attend school for the deaf . Now we are getting old and are planning to move to the country soon with our son .Pray for us that this happens soon .

Thanks for the sharing. Country life is good to isolate from evil thing. City is easy to reach people and preach to them.
