Hey everyone 🤗 this video has grown more than I expected so I just want to re-emphasize that I still tithe, give to the poor, and give to ministries for the furtherance of the gospel, our beloved Father’s kingdom 🤍. I made this video to share my story, what God has revealed to me, and to bring balance to a teaching that some have used to take advantage of others. Not all have bad motives, may God give us discernment 🙏🏽

Wow. I can’t believe I came across your video! I’ve been thinking about this for a few months now n have been wanting to make a video about it. Ive encountered false prophets but also legit prophets that are just too aggressive with their tithing requests. Very long story but a preacher had one of his people call me and they got me to “sew a seed” but a large amount that I shouldn’t have. Found out later that the loan that I took out I invested into a crypto scam unknowingly. I lost a lot of money. That wasn’t the preachers fault but they knew how much my loan was for so I tithed 10% to them n she asked me for 20%! My gosh! This was before I had any money coming in! I was basically unemployed. Yes, absolutely. Pray for discernment. I’ve been praying for that lately n the Lord has been helping me in this area.

I shared a little about this in my recent video how my husband and I both got fired from our job the same day. The month after the Lord provided through our business that we already had set up. He provided through sales for all our our bills plus some and has not stopped. This was at the end of 2018. The Lord is the ultimate provider!

Praise God!! I'm believing the same! My husband (who NEVER wanted to open a business) started leading us to start a business at the end of March. I lost my job at the end of April. We still need to launch, but He has provided everything we need up to this point. I'm following His leading and allowing Him to be the CEO. It's hard to walk out the faith necessary to move forward without really seeing where it'll all lead, but I'm trusting Him everyday and resisting the enemies lies. This is so true. She is telling the truth. I lived it. I tithed and gave for years. Divorced with 3 young childern and could not even pay my gas bill and rent. But believed, followed and did what they told me to do. They got their wealth by others giving to them and buying their merchadise. God gives you wisdom and common sense. I finally woke up, got tired of being broke, trusted God and stop following the half truths and the manipulation of scriptures from the false prophets. WAKE UP! I’ve been feeling it in my spirit lately to aggressively pay off my student loans. And then God reminded me of the scripture that his children are lenders and not borrowers (borrowing loans for school). So, I have been praying that he helps me bring in additional money to pay off the loans even faster so I can become debt free!

Even the clock you believe is broken is right twice per day, as they say. What he's referring to is Proverbs 19:17: "He that has mercy on/ shows kindness to the poor lends to the Lord and the Lord will repay him what he has given." That's why they use this scripture when they want you to give in order to fund programmes, especially outreach ones.

While I've not stopped sowing and tithing because the church needs money and it is my way of honouring God, I've learnt that my skill or job is the channel through which God reaches back to me with my harvest. If you dont have a source or streams of income, your sowing and other financial pratices will go to waste. I needed to hear this so bad! I was talking to a sister in Christ the other day and she said something similar. To talk to God and ask him if you need to sow extra and that just because they ask doesn't me we have to sow all the time. We don’t see the generous people getting rich because they aren’t trying to get rich. (Playing the lottery and gambling aren’t trying to get rich, that’s throwing money away). You can’t just expect money to come from the sky, you have to do something. Like the farmer who plants seeds. He doesn’t just expect a bountiful harvest, he prepares the soil, waters the crops, fertilize the plants, learns what each plant needs to grow.

Thank you so much for sharing your testimony. It reminded me of when my daughter was in college. When you talked about the tuition, i was like 😮. But not only that, prior to my daughter returning home, I was on the prayer team, and God said, "Take your car note money to the alter. Girl, I was like, what God! Im 2 months behind. Not being obedient in that moment cost me dearly. 2 weeks later, the car was repoed. For a year, I walked, caught a bus, caught a cab, and caught a ride. But the people i had helped when i had transportation were nowhere to be found. This went on for a yr. Then my daughter returned home, and one sunny day, a tree fell on her care and totaled it. So, we got a ride to a dealership to get her a car. Mind you, it's been iver a yr since I had a car. I go to help her negotiate the price. We were there 6 hours. In the 5th hour, the salesman says, "What kind of car do you have? I tell him, I don't have a car. He was like, you can't help her, and you don't have one! I said, "im not going to quality." He said go puck a car. Ok, within the hour, i got me a car and co-signed for my daughter's car. And, I didn't have to put any money down on mine. I praised GOD all the way home for teaching me a lesson on obedience. And, that was only one time. God instructed me to become a life coach many years ago, but I got so caught up with what others were doing that I lost sight of what he told me to do. But I'm pretty clear that it is coaching others in the area of forgiveness. So, please 🙏 for me, when it comes to strategy and marketing in getting my business started. I want to make sure it is in alignment with God's plan for my life. Thank you, and continued blessings to you.

The reason people that give in church never see wealth for their tithes and offerings is because they have no discernment or clarity concerning who they are giving to. The Bible warns us about false prophets and teachers, but lukewarm Christians and people with religious spirits, are giving to the wrong ministries and charities. Before you give anything, ask God for guidance. Another thing, tithes do not have to be given to a church, it may need to go towards something else. You can give to a hundred homeless people and will not be blessed because God never instructed you do that. The Bible tells us that good deeds will not get us into heaven or lead to blessings IF it is not God-led. Fasting is a God-given tool to hear from God and feel the Holy Spirit.

God is so intentional. I have been thinking about this for a few days and have been struggling with trusting God with my money and stepping out in faith. He made me realise that everything in this world is vanity and my money and everything He has given me in my life is enough to provide for me. It should also be used to glorify Him and advance His kingdom in order to bless others because it isn't all about me. Yes, He will bless a cheerful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7) but why do I think that blessing will be money, His thoughts are not mine (Isaiah 55:9) (Proverbs 3:5) and there is a deeper meaning to the rewards He will give, which will ultimately advance His plans for me. God has confirmed this for me, through you. God bless you.

I have Bern a Christian for 30 years and I have NEVER heard anyone say it like you did! God provides foe HIS purpose in our lives not our desires. ....beautifully said and explained!!! SUCH a good message. Sometimes in an effort to encourage the saints, our church leaders lead us astray by not emphasizing the necessity of the work we must do to gain the change we seek. This is why Eph. 3.20 states "through his power at work within us." There is an emphasis on WORK (or the lack thereof) throughout the entire Bible. I'm very familiar with the Tele evangelist too. Fortunately my was born again and attended church regularly. I'm a musician. I play Keyboard. Most of music experience came from listening to a lot of gospel records and church. I presently need a much better car and a bigger place to live. I do tithe and give offerings. 💯 I was taught to go after the miracle or provision without being taught the kingdom principles to really get aligned with God’s plan for me. I am still grateful to the Lord for still using them in my early years so I could get born again and learn other biblical truths 😊

There’s so much into this topic and you did a good job explaining a foundation to it. I would say it’s a Biblical principle that prayer, fasting and giving would open breakthrough over us- it’s not about the amount of money but obedience and trusting in God that creates a space for that. Tithing is still very important. It’s sad how a lot of ministers used such a beautiful principle to their own gain. It is important to also learn sowing and reaping and using the gifts and talents we were given. it’s impt when we give/tithe, we are led by the Holy Spirit. I always encourage others to check our motives why we give-

My church has many with millionaires. I’ve received “random” financial blessings in the thousands. The only things that I can attribute to it, is practicing tithe and offerings, giving to the poor and having a heart to serve others for no exchange of money. I believe that money is energy. Good energy. It leaves and comes. Never meant to stay, only to be used.

The millionaires at your church, I am happy to hear that they are givers! Giving to the poor, and serving others is the heart of God. My video was not to discourage that, as I still do that myself, but to bring balance. Do any of the millionaires own businesses or do a work or skill that gives them money through God’s blessing? Or is all their income straight from miracle financial blessings that just come randomly?

Wow! This is so similar to my life. “Sewing” these big seeds almost to the detriment of myself and family. Two friends both had this same message for me to stop giving like crazy thinking God was going to just give me the money back. I had similar experiences and question, failing my business twice and losing everything even though I was completely showing up in faith. Looking back I can see that I still lacked a lot of skills, it was not the right time, not the right thing.
