Minus one was kinda terrifing, bc you see how different Godzilla can be and i like that bad version more , more orginal , more realistic , and we know this gets a better story

Yeah, Godzilla is one of the most versatile characters in cinema history. As you could make him a hero or a villain, and it works either way, and people don't question it

I wholeheartedly agree and embrace this throwback Godzilla that is pure evil, terror and suffering. To paraphrase the movie Terminator; That thing is out there. He can't be bargained with, he can't be reasoned with, he feels no remorse or pity, and he will not stop until you are dead. I loved the goofy movies of the 60's and 70's as a kid, but lost track of the franchise in the 80's and 90's. I liked the Legendary movies for the dumb fun/popcorn factor, not to mention the non-rubber suit. But this movie reboots Godzilla as a terrifying monster that is the product of human hubris and cannot be stopped.

Yeah, Godzilla movies are great as both dumb fun, and thought-provoking masterpieces. That's why the franchise is so special! But yeah, Minus One knocks other recent Godzilla films out of the park, quality-wise

For me what I liked most was that Godzilla is truly (once again) a force of nature. He seems evil to humans and understandably so. But in truth we’re just some small creatures, like mice, that are making him miserable. He’s not domesticated; there’s nothing in his makeup that draws him to humans in a positive way. Nature can be cruel and destructive in the human perspective, and often is. To me that is what Godzilla embodies in this film. The nuclear blasts made him worse but he was always Godzilla.

I rly think minus one is better then Godzilla x kong, because godzilla x kong looks like that it has a bad story, now it looks even more childish. I loved the filmdesign of 2014 more. Sry for bad english

Yeah, Godzilla x Kong does look pretty dumb and ridiculous. I'm sure it won't even come close to Minus One's quality. However, I actually like that they are going for a more silly and action focused tone, similar to the Showa era. Though, I do see the appeal of 2014's style
