As you can tell ange likes players who can finish with one touch and it’s all about attacking the danger area, the six yard box but there’ll probably be 20 passes before that happens where the opponent won’t be able to touch the ball (Angeball) … there will be times where you’re left open at the back but it’s all about scoring more goals than the opposition for Ange and that will definitely be the case when Spurs have more than 2/3 goalscorers in the team … trust the process Spurs fans

Spurs are THE most profitable football club on earth right now, according to Forbes but we still haven’t got the Centre backs in that we need. We’ve seen what this defence can & can’t do & playing in a system of high-press, high-intensity, high-line that Ange plays this defence will be out paced & over-exposed. We won’t have a solid defensive unit, unless we buy solid defensive players. It’s all well & good having more resources but you’re still competing against clubs that have even more than you do. And not just one or two clubs either. The premier league is hard, man. Really tough. Every single game you play is an absolute battle. You need a good squad. So we need to get some new players in, yesterday. Another thing, yes Spurs have more resources than Ange has ever had but he won’t get to just buy who he wants & spend freely. That doesn’t happen under Daniel Levy.

@@davidbeeson9408 My view is a quality Manager knows how to maximise those resources, that’s why I think Levy would have been so impressed by Ange prior to his appointment, knowing he can 1) identify players 2) get them in markets other EPL clubs would never explore 3) get them at bargain prices 4) knowing how to maximise their talents within his game structure. And whilst Spurs is one of the most financially wealthiest clubs in global sporting organisations it does not guarantee onfield success- Look at all the expensive players Spurs have bought under Merinho, Conte over the past few years yet where has it lead???? Ange doesn’t look for the most expensive players on the market, he knows the entire global market better than the best recruiters & chooses players who he identifies as capable of playing his brand of football irrespective of the players market value. Right now as he’s done with every club he’s Coached he’ll be looking at every player on the list & over the next few weeks will be choosing only players who he thinks can play his game plan & share his values, those that don’t will be out the door. Regarding Spurs defence I’m sure he’s already given the Board & Levy which players to target - already got Vicario, Maddison, Solomon, Kuku & most likely getting Tapsoba, VDV & few others over the next few weeks. Just trust in Ange & he’s process, he’s so diligent with everything he does he would have looked at all those players from a data-science point & clearly identified them as players who could fit in with their stats then spoken with them to see if their character matches his values cause what he’s a master at is also building strong culture & he’ll quickly get rid of those bad apples within the group who don’t share his values. So be patient, he’s only officially been at the club 1 week, I can guarantee you over the next 1-3 weeks you’ll see a completely new list of players, keep in mind also Scott Munn has worked with Ange in the past & is his biggest ally they have a strong relationship , once he commenced the decision making will be much more efficient & transparent. So for now just sit back , relax & wait for the season proper it’s going to be an exciting time ahead!

It's apparently inconceivable that players can make good things happen by thinking for themselves, making decisions, figuring things out, etc. See, football players don't actually understand how to play football. Only non football players (fans, journalists, "managers") understand how to play football. That's why players need non-players to tell them what to do. Defo not two touch😔..first move was laborious. Spurs already play better football than I see here. I get giving certain managers a chance who have got the best with limited squad/player levels but it doesnt work out more often than it does...list not exhaustive but to give an idea. Managers that didn't excel: David Moyes Alan Curbishley Graham Potter Nuno Santo AVB Managers that excelled: Mauricio Pochettiino Eddie Howe Di Matteo Tuchel Harry Redknapp. For me I feel Levy is hoping for the best but I can see a potential car crash. He didnt get Poch because the same issues that all the top mgrs complain about with us he's not looking to change. So, he's looking for someone fresh to over achieve based on resources...and that will not be too hollywood since he's never had a crop like this...but its only so far you can go like this. If this doesn't work I'm screaming LEVY OUT...500m% Up until now I haven't. YID ARMY.
