These are straight fire. Def one of the sneakers i want most this year and without a doubt a candidate for sneaker of the year. Hard to beat a Chicago 1 and these L&Fs deliver in a big way. I would have preferred just a regular Chicago like the 2015s or an 85 cut of that ; but in this case the worn / distressed details are well done and fit these L&Fs. The worn / vintage look is getting a bit overdone and looks likely getting even more of that in 2023 but for the L&F concept i think it works very well. Hopefully with the rumored high stock numbers , seemingly wide availability and EA going out soon for some on these ; hoping that means many of us can take retail Ws on these. And as a collector myself , these are going straight to the toe for me ; one of my all time favorite sneakers and already with a vintage / worn look. I hope that means many of us will wear them straight away.

There’s a clip out there when Mike was initially rocking the Jordan 1’s and the sportscaster said “Look at those shoes.. those have to be the ugliest shoes I’ve ever seen”. Everyone was rocking Converse on the court at that time. Still stands the test of time of how classic Jordan 1 silhouette is still to this very day.

How does he make no sense he's absolutely right they should have just released the regular Chicago so for that alone I would take a point off which makes it a 9 out of 10, and I'm sure there's probably one other thing about it that he would probably like different for example I would prefer the collar be straight black instead of how it looks a little aged which would be fair to deduct another point making it 8 out of 10....at that point he's not far off.

August 86 in the UK, the Jordan one was not the most popular silhouette from Nike. As a teenager I didn't see many on feet. Air Max 1s were number 1, then when the Jordans were available with the visible air unit they became more popular. Globally this classic silhouette has got full recognition as one of the Jordan range. Definitely want to cop a pair or two..... maybe a hatrick for nostalgia reasons 😉👊🏻❤💎

That’s not oxidation on the sole of the shoes. Before companies used the gel packs to absorb moisture they sprinkled powder on the soles of the shoes. I used to work in a sneaker store from 1984-1989 and this was a common occurrence. I would just get home and wipe my joints off with a damp paper towel. And I scored a pair of these through Nike Exclusive Access 👍🏾

They look like a mid with Nike Air on the tongue. The 2015 release sits higher. I don't get why the didn't do the true 85 look. They already dropped 2 pairs made pretty close to the OG 85 form.
