I’m not sure if you’ve already thought of this but you should use the back of the retaining wall as a quarter. You could also use it as a hip so you can take another lap.

Matt, I think for the end caps of your retaining wall to give it a angle down look is to bring the retaining wall up level with the face of your roll in to keep the sand in. use 3 full blocks 1 half block, 3 wedges for the slope down to flush with bottom

Dude if you can you should make a line that links the main jumps into the pump track. Just an idea but would be cool to see a huge berm at the end instead of the old wd40 quarter and than male it connect up with the pump track

you should make a roll in from your big landing ( were the rainbow roller is) that jumps over the rainbow roller and lands on the downside. This would then lead to the side of your pump track starting hill were you could then make a quarter pipe

Just after the triple pump and under the rainbow that pile of mud could be used to make a jump, two lines where the rainbow is and can connect straight after

Sick series, awesome time-lapses especially the end edits. What about a secrion where thebline splits, straight on is a big double and thebother line takes an s berm down into a massive bomb-hole underneath and in the gap of the double? It can berm back out and join back into the main line. Major feature, but it’d be sick for some mad train runs!
@TheMeta66 жыл бұрын
Looks awesome. I'd fill you're ditch full of gravel, i think they call it a French drain? Stops you tripping over it and stops it filling up with leaves and stuff

@tombrett87866 жыл бұрын
You should turn the mound next to the rainbow into a lip that connects with the bottom of the rainbow or just after
@larnbaldwin6 жыл бұрын
That pile of dirt by the rainbow make into another filler that then links back on after the rainbow, so you add lines, plus then you could transfer from one to the other is the roller is big enough
@chrissem52006 жыл бұрын
Ideas:double rollers or jumps, tabletops, wall berms.
@JjoshD6 жыл бұрын
i know clay is very hard but the side of that rainbow pump bump is a bit steep, you might have to build a little retaining wall to stop the soil from settling over time. Theres a thing called the angle of repose, its the natural angle from the ground that materials form when piled up. if your specific soil is above that angle, over time it will settle.

@MajorTom6966 жыл бұрын
how about a wallride on top of the rainbow? (following the curve it has) also you could use rocks/rubble under the jumps so you use less sand.
@garrettfagerberg61176 жыл бұрын
You should do an optional line with gaps and stuff that links back into the main line!
@49designss6 жыл бұрын
I'm thinking maybe needing a small bank between the down double and rainbow. Looks like there's an angle change that might not flow without a small bank/berm. And I would try if possible to find a place to try and make a 6 pack. Nothing more fun than trying to triple triple or quad double or whatever line can be done 👍 track is looking sweet!!

Hi Matt, loving the videos! I'm kinda new to jump building so this might be impossible, but at the end you could have a big hip jump over the breezeblocks and back to the beginning roll in? Looks like the roll in may be too steep but just and idea - keep up the great videos!

Doing a awasome job there lads Could finish the wall off with some coping stones Hand rail just get some scaffold simple and cheap Should get some big led flood lights on a small jenny would be cool to ride at night

The side of the roll in where the breeze blocks are you could make that into a quarter pipe which would be sick
@exodiah6 жыл бұрын
awesome job exactly how i imagined it!! you should try making a little drop down so you kill some of the momentum from the rollers but you could also make a landing like a roller after the drop down and for future lines you can ride the drop off and the roller or just straight use the speed from the berm to jump the whole thing and land on the end of the roller? Just an idea :)

Sick content Matt! Why not hire a wee 1.7 tonne digger to strip the turf and dig your drains? Will Save a lot of time compared to using a shovel, also with your drains make them a V or swale type and fill them with large rock to Protect the bottom and sides from scouring out. Keep up the great work mate, I tune in everyday all the way from New Zealand 🇳🇿. you will be a legend if you pinned this comment .PEACE!

Hi, I'm seriously thinking about building a pump track in my backyard. My yard has completely flat ground and I would only ride it in the Summer, as it is my Summer house. Is this a realistic idea? How would I solve drainage problems? Also, could you please tell me the approximate size/dimensions of your pumptrack? Thanks!

I'm not sure if your filming or riding is better Matt. IDK if you have access to the same thing but in the states alot of people burn the surface of jumps to super harden them
@kurtiswilliamson13766 жыл бұрын
You should make a gap jump in the middle of the track and rolers leading up to it.
