Hi Adam, good recovery. As a fellow single handicapper i agree Never give up on a round. You will never know what you will pick up. I know that there are many people who probably give you advice. Now here is mine and very simple. Try a few rounds with a slower back swing. A lot of pros do this. This will help with club head control and also controlling your lateral hip movement which you don't want and causes chunk and thin hits. Keep up the great work.

Right hand less underneath the club and really focusing on getting the "V" on my right hand pointing at my right shoulder. Basics but easy to over look and ruined my ball striking for a while. Hey Adam, great round! The mental side is just as important as the physical side, and I'd say you were a "scratch-level mental game" player on this day. Some people wouldn't have handled being +10 after 10 as well as you. I'm curious with your decision to still play tees at almost 6,500 yards even in fairly tough conditions? I'm around a 15 handicap, and I rarely play over 6,000 yards. Most of my rounds are between 5,800 and 6,000, due to being a bit of a shorter hitter like you. Keep up the great videos and I'm looking forward to the upcoming content!

I find tree lined courses to be more punishing of directional errors than those that are more open. Keeping the tee shot in play is paramount to avoiding doubles and triples. Having said that, I started off my last game with four pars in a row ( unusual for me) only to score two doubles in the next holes. Neither was due to tee shot error, but more my GIOTG approach shot left me with putts in 3 putt territory ( too long). I look forward to seeing a video on your pitching lesson.

How long have you had the PXGs? Get the lofts, lies, and swingweights, and weights in the Hybrids and woods all checked. They are notorious for shipping out way wrong. I suddenly was on the struggle bus after getting my Gen4 set last year. After thousands of dollars of lessons I heard about the QC issues, had all my lies and lofts fixed... some lie angles were 4up! Even got 2 spec checks with PXG reps who told me everything was fine, meanwhile I was struggling. Had a third party check my swingweights and they were all around C5 to C7. I can relate so close to this video lol... then lead tape on the irons to D1 immediately fixed my issues. Anyways, worth getting them checked if the "something isn't right" feeling continues.

I never go deep in the analysis of your swing, but my dad have the exact same one! I was able to make him win some extra yards by changing his grip. Left hand a bit more strong and right hand just over the left hand thumb. After that tilt the club a bit more or tilt the wrist a bit more for a 90°ish degree(hand/shaft) Your take off is good at your return too. Only thing is the top of your swing, very low... Too low to be exact! And this new grip with a more steep swing and you are done! I suggest you to ask your pro to guide you throught this. And even if you don't take my advice, i hope a youtuber could enjoy it! Love your videos Adam! Keep going!!

Technically you cannot play a ball from that penalty area (or even retrieve it) on Hole 2.
